Good morning work resource
Short passages, including non-fiction & articles on science & history, with good response questions. I use both the 3rd-grade & 4th-grade books as morning work with my 4th graders (about 50% of them below grade level). Gives us good practice on basic comprehension skills & a focus for discussing reading strategies.

Best one yet
Finally a book that’s worth it. Most grade level books sold online seem to be far short of what they’re actually doing/learning in class. This book is the first time where I felt passages and questions were at least somewhat on par. My only issue is that they need more lines to answer the questions. My kids handwriting isn’t the best so he needs extra room. Easy fix just having an extra notebook nearby but still.

Incredible Resource
This book is an incredible resource! The passages are the perfect length - enough depth to find main idea, supporting details, summarize and make inferences, yet short enough to get through in one meeting. The questions offer a variety of styles that give students the opportunity to find answers directly from the text as well as infer meaning from both texts and graphics. This has been an invaluable resource in preparation for our standardized testing.

and I am extremely happy. It has many short stories
I got this book for my son, to help him study for the state test, and I am extremely happy. It has many short stories, so it keeps his attention. I would definitely recommend this book, my son's learning ability in reading comprehension and critical thinking, has grown tremendously, he so much more confidence and is not worried to take his test test now.

As a teacher, I love this collection
I have used these for homeschooling. The leveled reading is very gradual so it is very encouraging for readers with difficulties in litteracy. I also use them for my ESL students.

Useful reading resource for reluctant readers and writers, especially home education students.
This is a great reading activity book for kids who don't really like reading. The reading is short and teaches certain skills and comprehension of each passage. There is a variety of types of reading passages from fantastical to realistic to nonfiction. One page a day works for us. This book provides variety and keeps the work short for students who don't like doing too much at once. I added this to our home education program for grade three.

I like it, my son doesn’t like it
I bought this workbook hoping it would help my son with writing , but it hasn’t been as useful as I had hoped. The workbook has a clear structure and layout, making it easy to follow. hasn’t shown much interest in using it. The activities feel a bit repetitive and lack interactive elements that might hold his attention better.
