Really nice compact product
This was a really nice product, I had to return it because it didn’t work for the project I intended it for. However, like the other reviews mention, it gets hot very quickly, and definitely does do the job. Just not the job that I needed it to do. It comes with a carrying case. Not one that you can really rely on for durability but nonetheless, it a case! I did not have to remove the blade to fit it in the case as others mentioned. The case also includes a wire brush for cleaning the blade.

Works great, cut very smoothly
It’s works great! I ordered this to cut outdoor fabric which frayed when using scissors. This hot knife easily slide through the fabric very smoothly and sealed in edges as I cut. I used it on top my granite counter top and didn’t have any issues. The only con for me is it started feeling a little heavy after cutting 16 pieces from 11 yards. I probably should’ve taken a break in between a few cuts, lol.

I use this product for cutting propylene sheets. Works great, no fraying of edges. Seals the edge perfectly

Great for nylon material
Built a 25 foot awning out of rip-stop nylon (tent material) and this heat knife was invaluable!! Totally worth it. Also works great for cutting and sealing paracord.

Quite masculine
I wish I could review the usefulness of this product. However, as a 72 arthritic female, I found it too heavy and bulky for my hands. About 40 yrs ago I would have loved it!!
