Kukri/Bolo machete hybrid gets the job done.
This machete is incredible. This hybrid between a kukri and a bolo machete easily slices through 2 in lch thick living shrubs. Easy to sharpen and clean, May develop a patina of rust if left damp. But that's what you want, that's how you know it's easier to sharpen. Keeps a great edge and the handle is absolutely incredible. It's not too heavy but it has enough Mass to do a full send, the swing is effortless. This sheath is a bit tight when you get it, but just set it under the edge of your mattress for a week or two and it will come out easier. Overall this machete functions better than I expected. Well worth the money.

This is a knife!
This is a beautiful, well made piece of craftsmanship. It looks so nice I could hang it on the wall, but it’s so well built it’d be a waste to not use it. It’s perfect for brush, limbs, and I’ve even sliced a mango with it. It cut right through the seed no problem. I’m sure I’ll carve a roast with it soon. Maybe thanksgiving turkey too. Plus no one will ever complain when you’re waving this thing around. It’s just the perfect all around tool.

Condor Amalgam machete is just the right length, shape, width, material, and build to me..
The Condor Amalgam is long enough for sweeping through some loose underbrush with a blade thickness and blade belly to chop through branches of varying thicknesses (and effort). The handle shape and angle with pummel bump feels natural in the hand and lends to a nice snap right before impact. The smooth wood is comfortable to the hand during the trial period and for a long adventure. For a trek I personally would use gloves (with any machete) since I am an office worker. I added a paracord thumb lanyard but leather cord may be better. Unscathed blade edge and quick wipe after initial trial use looks perfect.

I bought this based on the reviews but after using it one time, I have to rate it one star.
I grew up using knives almost daily and I have carried a pocket knife for at least 50 years. Therefore, I know a thing or two about them. Sorry to say but after using this for about 10 minutes, I found a chip in the blade. The mfg. will probably say that I bounced it off a rock or a piece of metal but that is not the case. I used it to cut down about a dozen ASH tree sprouts. They were about one inch in diameter. For those who don't know, Ash wood is very hard and this blade should not have failed. In fact a blade with true strength in it's metal should be able to strike an object much harder (metal for example) without chipping. This might have been my bad luck or just a one time quality glitch. After all the great reviews, I have to agree about everything. The quality overall is spot on.

Perfect chete!
I received mine last week and have used it for some moderate camp clearing. Perfectly balanced, and the best chopping machete I have used. The sheath is of excellent quality, but it's a little hard to remove the chete from it. However my review is based on the machete for tasks I use it for. If they come down a little in price will probably end up getting a couple more. I doubt you will find another that bites like this one.

Watch out
This came pretty sharp but needed some touch up. It's quality and a great size for you EDC outdoor kit. It stores well in a car and has many functions other than cutting brush and wood. This can be used for building a shelter, feather sticks and preparing a meal.

Gets the job done
This is reasonably sharp right out of the box and I used it to hack down some overgrown evergreen bushes. It would slice through wood up to about 3/4” thick, and was heavy enough to chop through thicker branches. I did strike the ground a few times, but this did not leave any apparent marks on the blade. I haven’t used many similar tools to compare to, but I am happy with my purchase.

Much better than one would expect!
Although smaller, it surprised me leaving the HalfChance Parang in the dust with heavy path clearing in the forest. It is a very well designed tool.

Kleine Angeberei for coolness.

Good edge retention. Fun to use
Another great machete/chopper from Condor. I took this on a 4 day backcountry trip, where I used this as a solo tool to chop, split and shave wood for camp fires. It’s not too heavy and can be useful in clearing brush aswell. The edge held up perfectly. The swedge is kind of annoying when trying to baton trhough wood but it’s not a big deal really. The leather sheath holds the knife well and is typical Condor quality

Amazing Blade Profile
The blade is thick and well sharpened. The blade profile is something different, a mix of khukuri and parang. The wood handle is comfortable and beautiful. The leather sheath is well done and fits well, but it's a little tough to take off the knife. A good chopping machete.
