It’s looks and sounds like Marshall speaker but much cheaper. Great value for money 👌🏻

This is a pretty awesome bluetooth speaker. But keep in mind it has a retro muted type of sound signature. It was designed for this, so keep this in mind also when buying. If you compare this with a traditional one from other brands, you might not like it. And I feel thats why a lot of negative reviews have come in. For volume this is sufficient. We keep this in the kitchen and it serves its purpose. Overall the sound can be described as a “bassy & muted”. Its like the sound comes out of tube/ tunnel. I remembered my old Panasonic boombox style stereo cassette player. One thing to note is - whatever the volume you set this to - on switching it on, it starts up at full volume with an introductory message “Powering On”. So you can’t switch it discretely. Overall I would recommend this at this price point. But I do still say that it’s not for everyone.

This is a scam ! the huge discount is simply because this batch is faulty. please look at other recent reviews. amazon does not give returns but refers you to the manufacturer, without giving contact details. the number and email of the manufacturer do not respond. what is shocking is that with the number of complaints recently, Amazon still continues to promote this product without taking any responsibility. No doubt the product is basically a good one, but equally without doubt this batch with the mega discount is simply faulty and will have to be put in the dustbin. So beware ! ......... TWO WEEKS LATER : Recently, some 2 weeks after being told that Amazon could not take a return, they have finally agreed to take it back. That is to their credit. Whoever initiated the 'new policy' - in India !- of not accepting returns for internal faults, without properly informing customers, should realise that online purchases depend on trust. we used to have faith in Amazon and used it a lot : we hope to regain that trust.

I purchased the Boult Retroamp Z40 speaker, which unfortunately arrived faulty. I promptly requested a replacement, but the pickup was delayed — the courier never showed up initially. After a week, someone finally came and collected the item, but did not provide a replacement, claiming it would be sent shortly. Now, it's been days and there's no update on my Amazon orders page confirming the pickup. I haven’t received the replacement nor any refund. It feels like the product was taken without any accountability — this is unacceptable and borders on theft. Amazon, this is a serious breach of trust. I expect immediate resolution: either a replacement or a full refund. Please investigate this courier handling and update my order status urgently.

Purchased this item basically for the design which I liked very much. The first consignment was delivered within 24 hours and it was just horrible. A defective (without any sound) item was sent in a dirty broken box repaired by plenty of adhesive tape, without any polythene cover for the speaker and damaged thermocol support. The exchanged speaker was delivered after 8 days or so and the packaging was proper. The sound quality, finishing and the functionality are quite good but there is one snag. The volume control doesn't work smoothly. The increment is not linear. Low volume starts at 40-50% rotation of the control knob and higher volume is achieved at 80%. At full volume it doesn't seem like a 40 watt output, it's much less. However, for my small room it's okay. It acts as a good showpiece also.

Two Feedbacks : 1. There is a voice coming from inside like something is broken or not fixed. 2. Voice quality is just below average . I took this to use in office but literally there is no bass just full of trebble which makes it unpleasant to hear. I use echo show 5 as well it might not be loud but compared to this the sound quality is much better. If you have confidence in your product you should add return policy as well. That is missing because once the customer have purchased it he/she is strucked with the product.
