High quality knife. Super sharp. Cuts through bread like butter. The weight is well balanced and the knife feels good in the hand.

When I read "10" knife," I didn't realize it's a 10" blade of a knife. The knife is massive. You feel how well it is built when you take it out of the box. Nothing from the groceries she could compare to this. The quality of the construction and finish is virtuous. Despite the size and the overall weight, the knife is perfectly balanced, so you have no issues using it. Starting from the box, internals, and the way it's packed and stored - this is an excellent gift for someone who loves good things and has a passion for cooking. I'm not a master bladesmith to tell if it's a real Damascus, but look how beautiful the blade is, and, believe me, my pictures do not do justice.

My husband has been baking a lot of bread in the past couple of years, so I thought it's high time I present him with a superior bread knife. This one is gorgeous, it has a very nice weight to it, and the blade is incredibly long--this knife will definitely be able to handle any loaf of bread he can bake up. The knife arrived well packaged in a nice, sturdy box. I'm happy with this order and would place it again. I recommend this beautiful knife!
