Amazing for hot sleepers!
I’ve never written an Amazon review before but felt compelled to share my love for this fan! I purchased the fan for my bedroom as I’m a hot sleeper and was so impressed with its effectiveness, even on the lowest setting. It’s also whisper quiet which is great for sleeping! The remote is also super handy to keep on the nightstand. Love the size also - it doesn’t take up too much space. Overall, it looks sleek, works great, and keeps me cool at night! Will buy another for the living room!

Perfect for seniors
Best fan I have ever bought. I'm 68 yrs old with arthritis. I needed something that was lightweight and easy to move around. This fan is exactly what I was looking for. It only took 5 minutes to put together. It works perfectly for keeping my bedroom at a comfortable temperature so I can sleep, and it is so quiet that it didn't disturb me at all. I love that it has the remote control so I can adjust it right from my bed without having to get up. I can move it easily from the bedroom to the living room when needed. It will definitely cut my electricity bill instead of having to run the old air conditioner that is in the wall of the apartment. I couldn't be happier. I might just get a second one for the living room so I don't have to move it at all.

Blown Away
Blown away by how quiet and powerful this little fan is. Well worth the money and better than other fans I was looking at in the same price range. highly recommend!

Huge fan of this...tiny fan...with some quibbles
(Using brevity in this review because there’s a character limit, but this is a full review) Currently using 16" pedestal fans, living room & bedroom. They’re adequate. But even at speed 1, motor humming. Great for bedroom (need to have a sort of noise, i.e. low hum, to help sleep), not so much the living room. Found this option touting quietness. I was a little leery about the dia. of blades, costs twice as much as the 16", but decided to try. Lots of pros, no real cons (but a quibble or 3): Pros: - Super easy assembly, no tools, didn’t read instructions. - Ninja quiet. There is ZERO motor hum. Fan has overall 9 speeds (1-8 then H). At speed 1, I couldn't hear anything (fan is about 12’ away, video was about 8’ away). At 5, I heard...best way to describe it is strong breeze. No motor noise. At 8 & H, strong wind. Still ZERO motor hum. A great thing, going to get another one for bedroom (wind sounds way better than oscillating hum sound for sleep/ white noise). - THE POWER! Side-by-side comparison: Turning on the 16" (always starts in low), took 6 seconds before I could feel the breeze. DREO, turning it on at 1, took 4 seconds - it was already as strong as the 16"’s med(2) setting. After 4 on DREO, 16" was left in the dust speed-wise. - Remote has a mute function for the fan beeping when you turn it on/ off/ change speed. Love it. Also seems to remember the last speed it had (Don't know how long it 'remembers,' but as of this review, 45 min & counting). Haven't tested the 'thermostat' thing where it adjusts speeds automatically, not sure I ever will. Rest of the controls are pretty clear. - (Not a pro, not a con/ quibble, but not making a 3rd category) The aromatherapy discs: Did not & likely will not test this. Seems a common theme in reviews. Maybe I’ll try it out of curiosity if I can find a scent I’d like. Maybe. - Despite the base being a LOT smaller than the 16" fan, it has great weight. Hey, as everyone else is saying, smaller footprint, & definitely stable. Doesn’t feel like it’ll tip over without intentionally trying. So I won't have to get it out of the robovacuum’s way. - Looks so sleek! Got mine in black but form factor looks like year 3000, not '1960's Hollywood version of Singapore' like the 16". - LED display turns off after a 1-2 mins (didn't time it). Unlike the 16" fan, I don't have to apply electrical tape to cover annoying 'always on' LED lights. Another reason to get one for bedroom. No cons, some quibbles: - The remote seems a lot chonkier than it needs to be. 16" has a wafer-thin remote (1.5" x 3.5" x .25"), uses a coin battery (CR 2025). The remote for the DREO is like my A/C remote (1.5" x 4.25" x .5"). It uses 2xAAA (included, product features didn't mention). There’s a lot of blank space below the buttons (see vid). Don't know if there's a reason for this but there’s this amazing year 3000 fan with a 1990's A/C remote. What? - A lot of reviews mention the max height is low. I don't see why that can't be raised: This fan isn’t top-heavy, & I'd gladly have a base 2" larger in dia. (Still way smaller than the 16”) to have an additional 4" of max ht: my bed is ~40" high. Will a small storage unit to adjust. Another $80. Worth it, but still. - Wish vertical oscillation could be controlled by remote, as with horizontal. Have a desk fan, oscillates vertically & horizontally, separately / together. Would really add to overall room circulation, mixing everything up temp-wise. Plus, Could control vertical angle remotely. I'd pay extra for that. As I said, those are quibbles & won’t prevent me from a) getting a 2nd one, & b) recommending this to my 'I need a fan on, in the bedroom, year round' coworker.

Great fan, not as tall as you think or might want.
I soooo wanted to give this a 5-star review - BUT... It's too short. I know it says 42" and that it may be to the very tip top of the fan..., it just seems too short. I have no idea why they wouldn't have made this fan taller. I took it out of the box and thought, 'This has got to extend taller than that!' Nope. Not a deal breaker, just disappointing. You look at it and want to instinctively raise it taller, but it won't get any taller. Otherwise, solid build, great air movement, quiet enough. Lots of pros. If this could have extended a 6, 8, 10 inches taller - 5 stars all the way.

Looks are deceiving
I usually go with a Black & Decker oscillating fan. Cheap, reliable, and durable. I have been seeing the new fan blade technology and figured I would give it a shot. When I put ot together I was stunned at how small the side of the fan was. It is about half the circumference of the old style pedestal fan. I felt a bit disappointed until I turned it on. This fan is fantastic. It has 8 speeds and is VERY quiet until you get to 6 and up. Then you get the hum of a fan, but not annoying. The remote works quite well. I'll never go back to a standard oscillating fan again.

Easy and Great Quality
This fan is great and work very well. The blowing power is very strong and I would buy this fan again. It leaves a small foot print and takes up very little space. This fan is very easy to use and comes with a remote control.

Study, Quiet and Fantastic airflow Fan!!!
I loved this fan so much I bought another one after a couple of months! Super quiet and easy to assemble. Oscillating function is full range and the remote lights up when you use and I appreciate that option at night. Fan does on sale via Limited Deal often so the price is fantastic. I have purchased the extra pads and some lavender essentional oil. Very subtle but a nice touch. Base is sturdy and it never tips over ~ thick and heafty fan cage.

A Standing Ovation
I wasn't expecting much — it's a fan, not a spaceship. But the Dreo quietly proved me wrong, and I do mean quietly. It runs at barely a whisper, which means you can actually hold a conversation, watch telly, or sleep without it grinding away in the background. The auto mode is genuinely handy — it just reads the room and adjusts itself, so you're not constantly fiddling with settings. The remote means you never have to get up, the display is easy to read from across the room, and the whole thing is straightforward to keep clean. Compact, clever, and genuinely effective. It's the kind of thing you buy once and stop thinking about, which is exactly what a good fan should be.

Promise delivered!
4 stars for the misleading pictures with a led screen when in reality it doesn't have one. Otherwise a very good product, it delivers what it promises. Have been using it for about a month now, satisfied.
