That is absolutely not true. I, too, opened the capsule and tasted the powder. It was not sour. This is a good choice.

This NAD+ supplement is similar to others that I have seen recently that are liposomal and 500 mg dosage. What is different about this particular supplement is that it is a single capsule per serving and that capsule is larger than what I’ve come to expect from other brands that have a smaller capsule but the serving size is 2 so as to have the same dosage. Even though a single, larger capsule, it is still of an average size and plenty easy to swallow. The capsules are white in color and come in a dark transparent brown plastic bottle that keeps most of the light out. Like most other similar supplements, it is non-GMO, free of ingredients like soy, made in a GMP certified facility, and third party tested. There is a lot number and expiration date printed on the bottle of the bottle, which is good as it helps identify batches for quality control. Overall, I found this to be a good NAD+ supplement. I had no issues taking it (no side effects, no aroma or flavor, etc.). The price seems reasonable and competitive. If you don’t mind a single larger capsule, and maybe prefer one capsule over two, then this supplement would be worth trying.
