I was on the hunt for a microfiber towel for drying my curly hair that didn’t cause a lot of frizz and could plop in between steps. I have a looser curl pattern and mobility issues so doing a full routine can be exhausting. I was often plopping my hair in a cotton shirt, this is just easier! Can still plop in the middle and stays on my head, a little heavy but not bothersome, can do tasks and doesn’t slip as long as you are aware of the limits of the hold such as bending over. It doesn’t hurt can soaks up the moisture well. The only draw back is the water it soaks up doesn’t dry itself super well, can go a few wash days like 3-5 before I wash it to prevent mustiness. I think it works well over all, super cute the color is amazing. Kitsch products are wonderful and pairs well with them. Silk feels amazing and reduces a lot of frizz. Amazing.

When I purchased this, I didn’t realize the satin was both on the inside and outside. I thought it was just satin on the outside to give it a pretty look. I will admit I was a little nervous to use it at first because I didn’t know if it would actually dry my hair well enough. After the first use I was pleasantly surprised. It dried my hair like a normal microfiber towel and the satin fabric is super healthy for my hair. The towel stayed in place and I had no issues with it moving or falling. I will say this towel did seem to take a little longer to dry out since it is so thick, but other than that, I’m very happy with this purchase!

*** In looking to buy another one as a backup (and probably another as a gift to my sister ) because I don't want to not find these again, I just noticed on the picture that it says for fine straight wavy thin hair. Why it would say that I don't know because you could be turning away people with hair like mine! I have wavy thick below shoulder length hair and although the longer your hair is, the harder it is to tuck it in naturally because of the length on any towel turban, it works very well on thick hair as well***I keep finding more and more things from this brand that I like. Because of certain stores that have gone out of business it's not always easy to find these anymore and I don't think I have ever found them in black. It's such high-quality it blows away the other ones that I have been using for years. It's thick and plush and has an extra strong elastic loop and quality button. Would absolutely buy again!

This is the 2nd one I've purchased. Last one was a few years back so they last very long. These towels are very absorbent, soft and easy to use.

I’ll start by saying I’m a big fan of Kitsch, I own quite a few of their products, so I didn’t even consider getting a satin hair wrap from another brand. This one is designed really nicely, satin on both sides with microfiber inside, kind of like a sandwich. I love the idea behind it, especially for reducing frizz and friction since I’ve stopped loving my old all-microfiber wraps. The hair wrap is pretty spacious. I don’t have a lot of hair, but I’m sure it would easily fit thicker or longer hair too. It also comes beautifully packaged and looks super chic, honestly makes me want to wash my hair more often :) That said, there are a couple of downsides for me. The elastic around the edges is not very gentle. I’m not entirely sure why it’s even needed there, and because it presses against my face, it leaves marks and feels a bit uncomfortable while wearing it. Also, the satin is 97% polyester, so it doesn’t feel anything like real silk. For the price, that’s expected, just don’t go in expecting a luxe, silky feel. Overall, I love the concept and the look, but the comfort could definitely be better.

This is one of the most luxurious hair drying towels/turbans I’ve used. It’s a great product if you’re trying to protect e hair from further damage. I’ve got a mixture of 3C-4B and this is the only hair turban I tidy with my glorious curls. It dries my hair in a reasonable time frame while staying on while I do other things around the house! What a delight? There’s almost no amount of money I won’t pay for beautiful hair and this product is being well priced, and exceptionally essential in my opinion. It’s well sized and hold my thick shoulder length hair comfortably. There’s one small downside. It takes a while to dry it. Simple fix, after you use it hang it up to dry. Once you try it and experience it I think you’ll agree that it doesn’t hurt your hair growth (or maintenance) journey.

It is nice and made my hair less frizzy but it weights a lot. It weighs my head down and is too tight , making is uncomfortable . I also thought you could leave it on until it dries but apparently you can’t so technically it reduces heat damage but not totally.( I may be wrong )Honestly to be completely transparent, coming from a curly hair girly, it’s just way easier to use an old shirt. It gives the same results and its cheaper, less bulky, and lightweight .

Excellent Quality & Price

I can't fit my thick and long hair in the turban. Feels very loose after fastening the turban. Not worth it if you have very long and thick hair.
