Professional, Commercial quality, worth its weight!
The pastry board arrived well packaged, on time and it is beautiful. I’ve wanted one for some time, but finally but the bullet. Will update later once it’s been used for a while, regarding it’s durability, function and appearance.

Perfect for croissants
I needed a large marble slab to make croissants and at one point in the recipe I needed to roll the dough out to 20 inches long so this 24" board fit the bill perfectly. The one side is super smooth for working on and the other side is a little rough which helps it from slipping on the counter. I didnt add the provided feet as the slab was heavy enough it wasnt sliding anywhere anyway. Great buy, beautiful piece of marble.

Great items to have in any cooking/baking kitchen!
Looking forward to using them in my baking and cooking. Great item and with the durability of marble and ease in cleaning up the messes I inevitably make when baking, the marble boards will be just the items I’ve needed for a long time!

This is a beautiful display tray.
This tray is made for charcuterie or the like. I used it as a dresser-top tray on which to arrange my fragrance bottles. It consolidates them, sets them up off the wood, and makes them look arranged instead of cluttered.

Great for rolling our dough; delicate finish though
Purchased this pastry board/rolling pin set for rolling out pie crust. The large size is 100% perfect for rolling out pie crusts, no doubt about that. Room to work & lay the rolling pin. TIME-SAVING TIP: I dust the pastry board with flour, then a layer of parchment paper on top of that, then dust flour on the parchment paper, then on top of the flour-dusted parchment paper I place the frozen homemade pie crust dough, dust the rolling pin with flour, and then roll the pie crust dough flat and round. Once rolled out, having the parchment paper between the pastry board and the pie crust dough makes it easy to transfer the crust away from the pastry board and into the pie dish (and it makes cleaning the marble pastry board a breeze). The marble rolling pin works nicely, rolls smoothly, cleans easily (since I dust the rolling pin with flour). I like the marble white color because it’s easy to work dough on and gently keep clean after. The marble pastry board not surprisingly weighs A LOT, so we leave ours out on the countertop. No way to store the pastry board securely on its side, etc. so for us leaving the marble pastry board in place for next use is best option. First impression of the marble pastry board out of the box was that the pastry board was attractive from a distance and pleasing to have on the countertop. Unfortunately the pastry board finish not durable enough for everyday use, not super well sealed, and like all marble will irreparably etch where exposed to white vinegar, pickle juice anccidentally dripped, etc. That means it’s not the ideal board to have taking up that much space on the countertop 24/7 (and it’s too heavy/bulky to move and store elsewhere ). We use a wood cutting board for cutting things, definitely would not recommend the marble pastry board as a cutting board (would not be good for the marble pastry board or your knives). Water will slightly bead up on the marble pastry board’s top surface, showing the pastry board top has some sealing on it. Bottom side of the marble pastry board is not sealed or finished to same degree as upper side. Despite VERY VISIBLE etching from inadvertent temporary white vinegar contact when a bit of white vinegar dripped down the vinegar bottle side, we are very glad to have the marble pastry board for its intended purpose of rolling out pie crust dough, just sad that after only a few weeks the marble pastry board already looks a bit etched. Can see exactly where the vinegar dripped from five feet away. (After living this short time with this marble pastry board, I definitely wouldn’t want a marble countertop. Too stressful if anything vinegary drips on it.) (Granite countertop seems a bit more durable/forgiving than this marble pastry board, but maybe the granite just has a more durable seal). ( A pastry board is easy to replace once in awhile, a countertop this delicate would be too much bother and expense.). The marble rolling pin is just about perfect so far, nice and heavy, and that heavy rolling pin weight definitely helps roll out the pie crust with far less muscle than a wooden rolling pin :). Before the white vinegar etching I would have given this set a five, but the etching by the dripped vinegar definitely hurt the overall appearance of the pastry board and underscored that it’s finish is very delicate. We clean gently with water/diluted Dawn soap/water on soft rag and dry by hand. Hope this review was useful to you :)

Good quality, but with cracks.
Loved the board, which I got for Christmas, but have discovered that it has a hairline crack in both sides. It has been handled very carefully since I received it. I had already thrown away the packaging when I discovered the cracks and did not feel that I had a good way to send it back. I will continue to use and be very careful and hopefully it will not get worse or break. The marble is very heavy and attractive.

Marble slab
This slab is great. I used it as a shelf topper to match my marble vanities and its great. I don't know how it is as a pastry board, but it is very sturdy and comes with heavy duty rubber feet so I imagine it would work fine for that. Came packaged very well so if yours arrives broken your delivery service had to try pretty hard.

Broken Marble
Opened package after return date deadline and discovered that the marble slab was broken.
