ETOPLIGHTING Victorian Collection Verde Green Finish Exterior Outdoor Lantern Light with Stamped Glass, Post APL1087

Our New England home is circa 1889 so we wanted a exterior light that looked appropriate with the age of our house (our home is in an historic village dating back to 1638). We had an electrician install it for us and it looks very good (practical too). We had to find a base plate that fit our clapboard siding, but we quickly found a suitable base plate on Amazon and ordered it. So, we're happy with our purchase.

I used mine as prop for Halloween. Wouldn't buy as permanent fixture as construction is cheap.

Product poorly packaged, resulting in broken glass panels and bent top frame. The product cannot be used and is considered a waste of money.

This fixture does NOT look like this AT ALL as shown in the ad. It is almost black...FLAT BLACK. You canNOT see the green much at all. They obviously doctor'd up the illustration. However, if you are remotely artsy, you could rub in some green or turquoise paint to give the illusion of the color you prefer. On the positive side, this fixture is solid and a very good size...not small. I like its size.

Charleston, SC had the rainiest year on record in 2015. One of our two lamps, which sit on top of brick posts at the end of our driveway, fell over, so we had to replace both. These new lamps are somewhat smaller than our other ones, which we had had for a number of years. The electrician commented that our old ones were a Hinckly brand, which were better quality. These look nice anyway. They are more decorative than many of the others available. They take one regular light bulb, whereas our other needed more than one special bulb.

Product is perfect! A little darker in color, closer to black but that's even better for our home. Customer service was excellent to replace one of the glass panels that was broken in shipping.

We haven't put this up yet since the wiring isn't done. But just going on the looks, we love it. It will look great hanging outside our new door. And the price was so low I was hesitant. But it sure looks nice!
