I picked up this Dreo evaporative cooler to replace my older unit from another brand that stopped circulating water after two years. I’ve been using Dreo’s air conditioner for over four years and have always been impressed with its performance, so I decided to stick with the brand—and I’m glad I did. Compared to my previous cooler, this one swings a bit faster, which I personally find less ideal for airflow distribution. However, the 4-speed settings are excellent. I usually keep it on speed 2, and it’s more than enough to cool my living room. The airflow reaches far and feels refreshing without being overpowering. It’s noticeably quieter than my old unit. The cross-flow impeller design really does make a difference—perfect for keeping the room cool without disrupting conversations or sleep. The standout feature for me is the honeycomb dust filter. My old cooler had a cardboard-style pad that would develop odors if not dried properly. Dreo’s filter feels much more hygienic and durable, and the removable water tank and grille make cleaning super easy. Overall, this cooler is a solid upgrade. While I wish the oscillation speed were adjustable, the cooling power, quiet operation, and thoughtful design more than make up for it. Dreo continues to impress with reliable and user-friendly products.

Bought this for my son’s room because the window won’t fit an air conditioner. I would recommend anyone to buy this. Without even adding the water and the ice packs it still blows cool air. It is reliable, low noise level . It’s nice to have a remote so you don’t have to get up and change the settings.

This is high tech fan. Don’t get me wrong, it performs better than transitional fans but to advertise it as a swamp cooler is something you have to judge for yourself. When you put the water and/ or ice coolers in it doesn’t last long. After 4 hours the tank is empty and needs to be refilled again. It comes with two ice coolers but I suggest buying more ice coolers because they don’t last long in the tank. Once that’s done, you do get a nice cool breeze. Overall, I don’t have any real complaints about it. Dreo makes great innovative products and the warranty is very good.

The cooling feature on this fan does not work at all. There's no difference in the air that comes out when you have water in the tank. I even tried ice cubes and ice packs to make the water frigid, but it had no effect. In fact, it's worse with the water option turned on because then the room is warm and muggy. This is way too expensive for just a basic tower fan.

Just decided to pull this out today and it's amazing! The assembly is really quick. Just click the base together and attach to the fan and you're good to go. I filled my tank with ice and water. It comes with ice packs but of course they're not frozen upon arrival. Sounds like a regular fan even at the highest level of 4. The air is a whole lot cooler than I thought it would be. Make sure you purchase some citric acid. That is recommended for cleaning the tank. Not sure what the humidity button does. Literally can't tell any difference when I have it on or off. Otherwise a really decent purchase to keep cool! Update: it's very difficult to try and use the ice packs. They don't stay in place. Also the fan never uses all of the water in the tank completely so it just sits at the bottom of the tank. Make sure you clean this regularly with citric acid and or vinegar to prevent it from smelling weird.

It was easy to set up, I love that it is both a fan and cooler. Where we live we do not have ac this is perfect for are bedroom. The cooler is perfect keeps the room cooler on a hot day. I recommend getting a 1 gallon pitcher for filling up the reservoir .

I should of known this was a bad purchase the moment i opened it and noticed i couldn't find the remote or the ice tanks. As a FAN it's alright. the water tank leaked ALL over my carpet so that's unusable As i stated earlier it didn't come with the remote, or the ice packs it showed would come with it. Way too expensive for what I got. it's not as quiet as it advertised and if it is ever gonna have that option i wouldn't know because i don't have the remote to use that option. SO i just payed the money for a glorified tower fan. Not at all happy with this product.

It is not on the same plane as a swamp cooler. It takes the edge off a really hot space, but not much more than that. Save your money and buy an actual swamp cooler or portable AC unit. If those aren't options then this will do. The ice packs they come with are useless. I use cold refrigerated water and ice. It's okay but also not.

Als ich den Ventilator bestellt habe, wurde mir angezeigt er ist vorhanden, in der AB hieß es, er ist nicht auf Lager. Also stornierte ich die Bestellung und er wurde dann zufälligerweise genau in diesem Moment an UPS übermittelt und die Stornierung lief schief. Obwohl ich eigentlich 4 Wochen hätte warten müssen? Naja, eine Woche später war er allerdings dann da. Da ich in einer Dachgeschosswohnung lebe und ich dringend einen Kühler für mich und mein Haustier gebraucht habe, lies ich den Kauf mal durchlaufen und habe die Ware angenommen und muss sagen trotz der Verwirrung mit der Lieferung ist er wirklich super. Der Aufbau war einfach, ich musste nur den Turm auf die Drehplatte klemmen und den Wassertank anschließen. Er kühlt gut durch, hat einen Wassertank den man mit 2 mitgelieferten Kühlpacks füllen kann. Er hat 4 stufen, laut und leise etc. Er kühlt unser Wohnzimmer angenehm runter. Kann man empfehlen.

This thing is unbelievably good! Just short of a mini hurricane. It makes my old 46in tower fan feel like a paper fan. When this thing is switched on, you really feel it. Even on its lowest setting it does the job. Quiet enough to keep on all night, not loud at all. It’s a bit weighty but that’s down to it being filled with water to help the cooling. Really easy to use, fans aren’t all that complicated! The remote works really well, I usually have an issue with them being glitchy if you don’t hold them or aim them perfectly, but this one is fine. The evaporation is noticeable. You can’t see a mist or anything but it definitely feels cooler side by side with a fan that doesn’t have a water tank built in. Love that it came with two freezer blocks which means you can rotate them out the freezer so there’s always a cold one in the fan! Very solid fan! Worth every penny.

... pour moi qui ne suis pas prête à installer une clim dans l'immédiat. Il est très silencieux même à vitesse 4. Je ne retire pas la pompe à chaque remplissage, je préfère mettre de l'eau à l'aide d'une carafe avant d'y ajouter les blocs réfrigérants. L'assemblage du socle et son montage sont faciles si la notice d'emploi est bien suivie. La télécommande est aussi, bien pratique. Franchement, je ne regrette pas mon achat qui m'a été livré avec 10 jours d'avance!

Formschön, leise und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Die Wasser/ Eisakku Funktion überzeugt nicht sonderlich. Es wird eher recht stickig im Raum, durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit.

C'est une tour avec une ventilation très performante. Son fonctionnement à l'eau donne un air un peu plus frais qu'une ventilation classique, cependant pour ce qui me concerne, en plaçant un thermomètre devant le flux d'air, celui-ci n'a pas baissé en température. La nuit en laissant tourner en vitesse minimale, le rafraîchissement est appréciable et le bruit reste supportable, surtout quand il fait 29 degrés dans la chambre. Ça n'est pas un climatiseur mais un bon compromis entre ventilateur classique et climatisation, à un tarif correct et avec une consommation électrique réduite par rapport à un climatiseur. Je suis satisfait de mon achat.
