Lian Li Edge 1200W Gold-Black-EG1200G.BH

I recently built a new gaming PC. I could probably have gone with 1000 Watt PSU, but to give myself an extra buffer and theoretically, a possible future upgrade to GPU, I purchased this model of 1200 Watt. The PSU has healthy weight to it, seems very sturdy, and has lots of cables and is fully modular. I didn't experience any issues with it and am very happy with it. I'm a very noise sensitive person but I can't complain about any excess noise it generates.

This PSU is top notch. It's well built and very quite. It has power and plenty of it. The cables are nicely done and have ample length. The USB fan hub is magnetic and offers plenty of options. I like it my self. For the money, you can't go wrong with this unit. I highly recommend this one.

Great product, low noise it's handles anything. But better install side ways for better airflow.

For starters, I am using a very large case (NZXT H7 Flow) so size means little since I have so much clearance, but this thing is more compact than my previous RM850x! Not only that but the positioning makes cable management beneath the Motherboard a lot easier. The cables are by far the best part: they are flexible, so flexible that I was able to bend them at about 110 degrees to slip them past the side cover and they obliged on the first try. I've built many a PC, and no other PSU comes close to this level of flexibility. It also has the appropriate amount of PCIe connectors (3x 8pin to 6pin+2pin, 3x 8pin pigtails, and a 12V) and of course, insane wattage. It looks great, which means little since it's tucked behind the case, but a pro if you have a visible PSU slot. The only con in my opinion is the fact that every cable is flat, the entire way through. At first it seemed helpful, keep them close to the case and tie them down, but when you need to flip a pin connector and it twists behind the MB, you have to play Tetris for a while to get it flat again, or risk it torquing and getting pressed down by the case's back panel. All in all, even with that one flaw, I'd give it 4.8. Easy to install, functions flawlessly and quietly, compact with bendy cables.

I got this PSU for a good price after I saw it scored an A rating on the psu tier list. That was good enough for me, but this thing went above and beyond. High quality cables that look nice, along with some combs. Built in fan controller that made cable management a breeze. Of course the main selling point was the edge access, which is now my default when building in a dual chamber case. Easy must buy for any dual chamber case build, skip otherwise.

Hands down the best cost for a PSU out there for ATX 3.1 with 1200 watts. Less than 200 for an ATX 3.1 and 1200w with the cables vertically mounted is an absolute steal. It's extremely well made and also has a removable fan filter to clean the inside of the PSU which I've never seen before. Now that's innovation. Cables are 100% long enough for a big case and cable management. The 600w cable for GPUs is the best cable by far that I've ever seen for a modern series card. THIS is massive. You won't EVER need to worry about melting cables with this one. Very easy to use PSU and fantastic build quality in general. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!

CPU: 9950x3d GPU: 5090 SSD's: 3x nvme - 4x normal Case Fans: 10x RGB Cables were plenty long enough. Provides plenty of power for my top end rig. Installation was fast and easy, just plugged in what I needed, made cable management nice and easy. Loved the removable fan filter. Makes cleaning time MUCH easier.

Can't go wrong with this thing. Having the connections facing you makes building so much easier. The included fan/ USB hub, is the icing on the cake!

One of the best PSUs I have bought. Fits like a glove in a Lian Li 011 dynamic evo case. Wires are sufficiently long and flexible. The 16 pin 12VHPWR cable is fantastic with a bulge to avoid accidentally bending at the edge of pins. Fits great with a MSI Suprim RTX 5090. Wires also run cool and have a light blue hue so you can immediately spot if not pushed in all the way. Lots of flexibility in cable management with sufficient amount of cables and also potentially future proof as it comes with 2 12VHPWR cables (on 16 pin and one with 2 8 pin). The fan and usb hub is an extra touch (though I didn’t need it as I am using Lian li fans). Final point is that there is no noise at all. Given how small the core PSU is (not counting the L shape), this one runs absolutely silent. I can’t hear it even at max load and overclocked 9950X3D at 250W+ and RTX 5090 pulling 600W+. If you are looking for a PSU this is by far the best one to purchase right now and very competitively priced.
