I LOVE IT!
We seldom eat french fries, so no testimony on those. Cookbook included with unit had recipe for potato skin wedges. I used 3 medium sweet potatoes, 1-1/2 TBL olive oil, 1-1/2 tsp cinnamon. EXCELLENT! Their onion ring recipe very acceptable. (they forgot temp. Used 360F). Garlic Lemon Chicken very good, NO MESS!! Held 2 chicken breasts nicely and was easy. Very adaptable to your own selection of seasonings. Seriously thinking about making room for it in our RV for our winter travels, along with the Instapot. Not completely satisfied with roasted cauliflower, but think it's my palate, not the fryer.

Who knew I needed an air fryer?
Was skeptical buying another appliance but this purchase was worth every penny. I don't know how I lived without an air fryer for so long! I tried all sorts of oven baked recipes claiming that the food would taste fried, but despite using the convection setting they never really crisped up like fried food does. This air fryer does the trick...and so much more. I have made so many different foods-meats, veggies, frozen items, etc. I love reheating food in it. I produces crispy food that is so much healthier. Makes great roasted veggies, too! We love making bacon in it (don't know if it's that much healthier but the bacon is crispy and less oily because the oil drips under the tray). It cooks so fast, too. The only shortcoming is the size. It is small and only fits so much at a time. When I make a baking dish full of eggplant Parmesan, for best results I only cook 4 slices of eggplant in the fryer at a time so it takes multiple cycles to cook it all. Despite the limited space, it's still an awesome addition to my kitchen arsenal. Another benefit that I will take advantage of is having oven cooked food even on those really hot days when I never use my kitchen oven in order to keep the house cool . Now, I will be able to cook with this air fryer out on my deck and not heat up the house. Extremely happy with my purchase!

Almost Perfect
The air fryer works very well, it’s super easy to use. I’ve made toast, tofu, chicken, veggies, fries, onion rings- everything in it. My ONLY issue is that sometimes when I go to shake the basket (as you’re supposed to do) it comes loose and lifts out of the basin. I’ve gotten used to it so I don’t have mishaps anymore but there were a lot of lost fries in the process.

It's simple, fast, and easy to clean!
At the time of this writing we've only had this fryer for about two weeks, but we've used it about half a dozen times in that short span already. We had an ordinary deep fryer for a couple of years, but it primarily stayed tucked away in the cupboard because every time we used it the smell of oil was inescapable and the unit was difficult to keep clean. We decided to try an air fryer based on recommendations from a couple of family members and we have been very pleased with it! We chose this particular air fryer primarily because of the size -- we wanted something on the larger side -- and so far we have not regretted going larger. For our family of four, going smaller than this would have required multiple batches and with two little kids running around we certainly prioritized single-batch cooking in our selection. It is incredibly simple to use and the instructions and recipe booklet that accompanied this unit have provided us with accurate times and temperatures thus far. We also can't get over how easy it is to clean. We tried mozzarella sticks recently and the melted cheese that leaked out and burned to the bottom of the fryer wiped out with a simple paper towel. Gone are the days of oil smells and sticky cleaning!

It was ok, but rusting now after 2 months, touch screen is temperamental
First of all - I made a mistake. I had meant to buy the Phillips air fryer but I clicked Buy Now on the wrong tab by mistake. My fault and I accepted that and rolled with it. It's a decent air fryer. 1 layer of wings will come out great after 22 minutes, fries are crispy if you don't overload. But I have two issues: 1) The touch screen to start the fryer is temperamental. I will push push push the button and I just can't get it started easily most times. More importantly 2) The basket is rusting after only 2 months. I am seriously disappointed in the quality.

This is a big appliance and can't live on the counter
I am still making friends with it. I learned to make sure not to put too much in at one time. I used half the recommended amount for French Fries and they still didn't really brown, even with shaking and extra time. I made buttermilk fried chicken, and it was crisp and juicy. That was a success. I made fried eggplant, and it never browned but tasted great. Be careful not to get burned on the bottom of the basket. I use a lot of nonstick cooking spray when cooking with the air fryer. I like it enough to keep it. There are only two of us at home, and it's a good size to make a meal for two. I got the big one, and it only makes about 4 pieces of chicken at a time. Plan on cooking time for several batches if you're cooking for a family or a party.

Love the 5.8 qt, even for a family of 2!
I've had it for only one week and already, I can't imagine living without it! I'm happy that I went with the larger size with the flat basket insert. When inserted into the bottom portion of the airfryer, it's a basket. When released, it makes it much easier to use a spatula to turn foods like filets of fish over. In one week, I've used it to cook marinated short ribs, pork ribs, chicken and salmon. Of course, it's also great for french fries, hash browns and tater tots! Great for bacon, too! The LED display is clear and easy to use. Most of all, I appreciate how quiet it is compared to couple of others I've seen and heard!

Air Fryer
Air Fryer has been outstanding. I fry everything and experiment. Cleaning is easy, I just put all try and racks in the dish washer. Seems durable and with a lot of use working fine.
