This Food Chopper has been a lifesaver in my kitchen! The pull-string mechanism is super efficient—just a few pulls, and I’ve got perfectly chopped onions or veggies. The Japanese stainless steel blades are impressively sharp, making the whole process effortless. I also love how the transparent bowl lets me see exactly how fine the chop is. I had seen these on tv and other places, and always had been hesitant to purchase. I went ahead and bought this one, and am glad I did. This little handy item is perfect for everything from finely chopped onions, to chopping up stuff for salsa!! Fast and easy, uses no power, easy to clean, and take up hardly any storage space at all. We actually got rid of our huge food processor, because this actually does a much better job!!

Love this little chopper. So many uses. Easy to clean. I hand wash it, but it says top shelf dishwasher safe so maybe I’ll try that sometime. Depending on what/ how much you put in it, the first pull or two are hard, but it works really well for most everything. Just be careful, the blades are super sharp.

This chopper works great just vary the number of pulls on the handle until you get the size and consistency you want. NOTE OF CAUTION: BE VERY CAREFUL HANDLING THE BLADES BECAUSE THEY ARE SUPER SHARP!

You should know that you have to use this Chopper in a very specific way, but if you do, it’s excellent. This is what it chops well: pickles, onions, celery, eggs, peppers. You can chop three whole hard boiled eggs at a time. BUT, you cannot put whole vegetables in it-you will need to cut up the onion, cut up the pepper, put in pickle slices, but it makes it really makes a very fine chop in an extremely quick amount of time. You may think this defeats the point if you have to cut it up a little, but I disagree because it chops beautifully and very quickly-much faster and more finely. It’s not good for chopped carrots. I used it to make 5 pounds of egg salad, and 5 pounds of tuna salad. But I use it to make the things I mix into the salad in addition to chopping the eggs. I also used it to make these deviled eggs; I put all the yolks in it, chopped them up, move to a mixing bowl-then make and add it in the chopped pickles, and then all the extra ingredients but remember first chop, then you put them in a bowl and then you mix it all up. It’s not a large food processor, but it really does make things much quicker.

This chopper is a blessing! Ne electricity needed and easily chips onions, peppers, boiled eggs with a pull of the string! Have not tried it with carrots but I am sure it will work the same! Every kitchen needs one!

Works well, very sharp.

I bought this after my previous chopper broke into pieces. Surprisingly, this one has double blades and quick to chop. Dishwaher safe and no water leaking into the lid. Which is a plus point as my previous chopper used to suck in the water throught the nylon.

Great chopper.. it’s just it almost grinds . Not chop . Good for making Indian curries. The veggies get really minced

The concept is great, but this product is not durable. In less than two months and less than 10 times using it, the string coil broke and no longer retracts. There’s similar reviews saying the same thing. I could hear the coil grinding so it must have failed and now it is completely unusable and not repairable as the string won’t pull. The lid also never sat properly without being finicky. Also, the design of the handle is terrible - it has a large ridge that is super painful to pull, it rubs against your fingers as you pull out.
