Easy peasey with this Matter certified bulbs and easy app that works with google.
These bulbs work great and replaced other smart bulbs that continued to lose pairing with google home. The matter certified and their app works great and much better than a prior purchase which was not matter certified and where the app and blue tooth were a problem for me to get working. I returned the prior purchase and used these to replace 3 year old bulbs that kept losing their pair or their app was not very smart!

Awesome for Matter Enabled Homes
Put the light in the socket, turned it on, opened Google Home and scanned the bar code sticker in the box. Done. No additional third party apps or accounts needed. It throws a lot of light. I can put two in my ceiling lamp and it feels like the sun. Claims to be a 75 watt equivalent. I'd say it's plenty of light for most things. Can also dim and change both color and color temperature. I told Google to turn my kitchen light blue and it did. Features all work in automation too. At roughly 10 us dollars per bulb, it's a little pricey for a light bulb, but way cheaper than a dimmable smart plug and surprisingly entertaining. Feels like a plastic light bulb in terms of quality. I had zero fear when installing. Seems to be standard in size to the common household light bulb. I can't speak for durability as I just turned it on and off a few times, but it did work, flawlessly with Google Home, out of the box, so it's a winner. 10/10. Will buy again.

Buy these
After my Sengled bulbs stopped working, I decided to try these Tapo TP-Link smart bulbs, and I’m glad I made the switch. Setup was incredibly easy—probably the smoothest experience I’ve had with smart bulbs. Using Alexa, I was able to set up 8 bulbs in less than 20 minutes, and they all connected on the first try without any hassle. The brightness is excellent at 1100 lumens, making them a true 75W equivalent. Rooms that used to feel a little dim are now well lit, and the dimming feature works perfectly for creating different moods. The 16 million color options are vibrant and fun to experiment with, and the white tones range from warm and cozy to bright and cool, which is great for both relaxing and working. Another big plus is that they’re Matter-certified, so they integrate seamlessly not just with Alexa but also with Siri and Google Home. That future-proofs them and gives me confidence they’ll stay compatible long-term. Overall, these bulbs are reliable, bright, versatile, and very easy to use. After dealing with other brands that were inconsistent, these have been a refreshing upgrade. Highly recommend them for anyone building out a smart home.

Good bulbs, but be ready to control these with the Tapo app and not Alexa.
Good bulbs, but I was disappointed that Alexa would frequently drop connection to these bulbs, which could be reestablished, but it was a nuisance. Downloaded the Tapo App, and this one does stay on. I preferred that Alexa would control these bulbs reliably, but now I do have to use the Tapo app also. This was not a problem of weak signal, but Alexa and these bulbs would lose synchronization too frequently.

TP-LIink Tapo Smart Bulbs Work and Play Well with Others
I use Kasa smart plugs and TP-Link products so it made sense to me to consolidate and invest in these Tapo bulbs especially since they connect via Matter, Bluetooth and WiFi. In addition, they link to Alexa and Smart Things so I can control my devices in a multitude of ways, my favorite of which is Alexa. Entering a dark room with an armful of laundry and just telling Alexa to turn on the light doesn’t get any easier than that. What might be easier is pairing these lights. Yep, while I was reading to see how to link them, each app had already found and paired with both bulbs. All I did was rename them and assign them to a group. Easy peasy. My only regret: my previous bulbs were 60 watt equivalent, these are 75 watt equivalent, but the white light is no brighter. Is that a deal breaker? No, especially when I can change the vibe with a request for red, pink, green, blue or whatever color I want. I like these so much, I’m ordering another for the study.

Great Lights but watch out for Alexa Integration
Updated Review- Quality Materials, Very Nice and Bright, Good clear colors. I typically buy TP-Link products because they are quality made, integrate well with Alexa, and simply work as designed. I bought these because these are 1100 lumens to replace a different brand 800 lumen smart bulb and these are a great update. My original review complained of random On/Off occurring and a couple weeks of debugging (including contacting Tapo Support). What I found was an ALEXA issue with the "Away Mode" routine that is made to randomly turn items on and off. The "mode" has a checkbox to automatically add new devices to be randomly turned on and off. The kicker is that ALEXA doesn't record the execution of this routine in its tracking so it was hard to find the problem without a recorded trail. It wasn't the lights after all.

I’m on the fence with these bulbs
First off I am almost totally blind, so this review is from a man with extreme visual limitations, and as that man go on knowing that you may have a different experience in setting up these bulbs. I am trying to move everything I can in my house to Work on both Amazon and Apple. After listening to a lot of videos about matter certified bulbs, TAPO seem to be the best value for the money. I ordered 10 of these bulbs in total, which took care of every light in my house. They were very easy to set up Through the Alexa app, but not through the TAPO app. And even harder through HomeKit. The videos I listen to told me to just scan the QR code through HomeKit and set it up. Not one of the QR codes worked so I had to generate each individual code Through the Amazon Alexa app and then put it into HomeKit. It was a very tedious task and that being said, I still am not able to add any of the bulbs to the TAPO app. I would also like to say that these bulbs aren’t as responsive as their Regular smart KASA bulbs. Whether I’m using Siri or Alexa to activate them, they take a couple seconds to come on. I do like the fact that when I did finally get them connected to the Siri portion that I can just tell my Apple Watch or say hey Siri through my earbuds and they worked and light up just like they’re supposed to. This means that if I am out and about, I do not have to pull my phone out and open it with Face ID to open the Alexa app to work them. That is a big plus for me. All in all I do like these bulbs, and I wish I could set up the scene mode through the Alexa app or HomeKit, but that’s only available through Tapo, which I cannot use. These work and do the job that they’re supposed to do albeit slow so I am on the fence about recommending them. Maybe with some updates they will get better and if that’s the case, I will come back and change the review as of now they are mediocre at best.

Good Matter support, but weak brightness unless set to ~2700K
I use Apple Home for automation and have a home hub. These Matter-certified bulbs work well with Apple Home and paired instantly in the Home app just by scanning the QR code. So far, on the first day of use, they appear to be totally reliable with Apple Home and work well. The setup was ultra smooth and easy, like all other Matter-certified devices I've added to Apple Home. There are a few cons, though: 1. The brightness of the bulbs is pretty weak for a 75W-equivalent bulb. At ~2700K, they are at their brightest and somewhere between 60W and 75W. However, when switching to a daylight temperature like 4000K-5000K they are a good bit dimmer… definitely not over 60W-equivalent, possibly less. And for raw colors, they are drastically dimmer, but colors are just a nighttime gimmick anyways and I don't care about that; I only want to adjust color temperature throughout the day. My big issue is that the daylight temperatures feel dim. 2. Some white-range colors are way off with the Apple Home app. Certain near-daylight colors are rendered by the bulb as bright orange, while other smart lights I have render them correctly. It's not a total dealbreaker as I just adjusted the color swatch to something the bulb can handle, but I was surprised by this. 3. For some reason, the Matter QR code is not printed directly on the bulb base, just the ID number. There are QR code stickers included in the box, but this really should have been printed on the bulb itself. I will probably lose track of these stickers in the future, and it will be more complicated trying to re-pair them then, since the Apple Home app wants to scan a QR code. Seems like a good budget bulb that's reliable, but I'm still on the fence about returning these and just paying up for the Hue bulbs. Overall, my main complaint is the brightness level at daylight temperatures.
