So addicted!
Love this little guy! I have been non-stop DIYing, lol. Had some hiccups at first with bunching and not catching the yarn properly. But, after watching some videos on YouTube, I was able to figure out work-around and now I don’t have any issues💜

Wrong information leads to insanity
While the product was easy to get set up, it didn't work as intended. Also the instructions were not very clear. The booklet included says that it can handle medium weight yarn, but that is not the truth. I was trying to make a drawstring for a tote bag I crocheted, and had five or six tries with this thing! Every single time the yarn got caught around the hooks and it drove me to insanity. They give out wrong information!

Getting the Hang of It Takes Patience but Worth It
There’s definitely a bit of a learning curve with this, especially the first time around. The instructions cover the basics but do not really help much when you run into little hiccups. My first cord had a few knotted spots from stopping and restarting, but with some patience and a few tricks I got the hang of it. It is not the fastest process and works at more of a steady pace, but it is satisfying once you get going. I suggest giving yourself plenty of space for the cord to hang and making sure your yarn is feeding smoothly before you start. Once you get the rhythm it is pretty easy.

Just can’t get the little flip hooks to work :(
I’m so bummed that I can’t get those flip hooks to work right. I have the tulip brand and don’t have any issues threading any of the three I own. Thinking an electric one would be great- I’m sure it would be if I could just get the flip hooks to work correctly, they keep snagging on the yarn and the yarn bunches up. If I figure it out I will update this review and tell you what I did.

Fun tool to make yarn tubes... but what do I do with them?
This is a fun tool to use! You load up yarn into and let it go! I haven't had any issues with missing stitches. One time I forgot to put the weights on and ended up with a bit of a knot, but I was able to cut it off and start over again. It is a lot of fun to watch run, and it makes a very soft smooth cord. Compared to knitting machines, you can really start this and step away for a few minutes, it's very reliable. It comes with some replacement hooks and some sample yarn to try it out with. My only complaint is that I don't really know what to do with these cords? Is there some craft ideas? I see online that people make flowers out of them, but what else can I do? Can I make a scarf or something? I was hoping that the instructions would have some craft ideas. I tried to put a piece of wire in one, but it poked out the side when I tried to form it into a shape. I might try this again.
