Nice multi monitor adapter
Bought this for work purposes. I work remotely; my job requires me to monitor a lot of IT infrastructure; I was managing with 3 monitors but feel like I needed a 4th. I have a 50" screen setup above my desk that I would like to move all of my active monitoring apps to so I have everything on one screen - This worked perfectly. Nice quality, and functions as it should. Easy 3 minute setup and I was on my way.

Not a solution for a new monitor:(
I've been struggling all week to add a monitor to my old laptop. It has one HDMI port that connects to a massive old monitor with massive plugs. I want to add a third monitor for portrait view. It is lightweight and has USBC and HDMI ports. My new monitor instantly turns on when connected to my new personal laptop just not my old work issued device. This HDMI splitter seemed like a solution but still doesn't communicate to the new monitor, only the old one which doesn't add anything to my needs. It's frustrating that nothing is compatible. My next step is to dry a display docking station, however they all have a USBC input which this old laptop doesn't have. I probably just need to retire this laptop to save myself more hassle and save my personal computer for work, sigh.
