It doesn’t leak when the straw is closed. However, if you shake it upside down while the straw is open, small drops of water will splatter out.

After trialing SO MANY different cups this is hands down the unexpected winner. Best for keeping milk cold, easy to clean, doesn’t leak, easy for toddler to hold, and doesn’t look like every other bottle at daycare either.

Contrary to the description this cup does leak when open. I have been on the hunt for a cup that my son cannot shake the water out of but as soon as I turn this cup upside down it drips and if you shake it so much water comes out so if your child shakes throws and slams their cup I would avoid this.
