My husband bought this for me, but I would like to know how you get the day of the week and date to match up and no it’s not the knob on side?

Yes, the date and day buttons are the same. And the button has two positions. You could pull out the button at the first position, the button will far away the watch case a little bit, rotate the button up to adjust week, and rotate the button down to adjust the day. When you pull out the button at the second position, the button has been pull out at the end, you could adjust the time.

Can i get this watch engraved for my sisters birthday?
