Nice color on top with no ammonia. Had used dark brown previously and this did not change color at bottom of hair at all, only top! Would recommend putting on ends of hair along with root time.

A great product at a great price

This stuff is amazing! I used 41 medium brown. I’ve been dying/ bleaching my hair for 10 years and wanted to match my natural roots and this did the job. To avoid hot roots I applied everywhere but roots left for 25 minutes, then added color to my roots for 5 minutes then massaged with lukewarm water for a minute then rinsed it out. I will be buying this again for my hair I love it and it looks so good my hair feels so nice.

I loved it! The color was even for me, not splotchy. It was a little darker than I expected, but that's good because it started to fade after just a few weeks. It left my hair feeling soft, thanks to the conditioner. I will say, I miss when they came with a tube of conditioner, that lasted a while. This little packet lasted for about 4 washes.

I have bright silver hair, and have great coverage with this! It has no ammonia or peroxide so it doesn't damage my hair or sting my scalp. Also, I have eczema/psoriasis - regular permanent color gives me a severe reaction. The highlights are amazing!!

I have used this product (Color #41) for more than 25 years. It is the only thing that completely covers the grey and has minimal fading. I use shampoo for color treated hair as well as a deep conditioner. The only grays that show up are from new growth. It does not have an ammonia smell, so the scent is OK. I recently had to start using a slightly lighter color because my grays are coming in faster and the lighter color blends them better. Use an old towel because the dye will stain any nice towels you use. This product is cheaper than going to a salon and spending hours. If you want a fancy color mix, this may not be for you.

Works great on my porous, wavy hair. The color is rich and long-lasting, applies evenly, and leaves my hair looking shiny and healthy without feeling damaged.

I love this stuff! I am 62 years old and have a moderate amount of gray hair--mostly at the roots. Before using Revlon ColorSilk, I was using a well-known, much higher-priced brand. Although I liked the way it colored my hair, I found clumps of hair in the tub after washing out the color. I now use Revlon ColorSilk exclusively. It's 1/3 the price of the other brand, it's less harsh on my hair, and the color looks as good and lasts as long as the other brand.
