Magura USA MT Trail Sport Disc Brake Set Black/Black, Pair

My son loves these brakes, he has told me the stopping power has increased dramatically, easy to install, no bleeding needed right of the box.

These brakes are phenomenal. The new short lever is a big improvement over the older one used in the mt5 version, that's pretty much the same brakes except the rear brake is a dual piston instead of a 4 piston calliper. Very easy to feather these brakes with one finger and also pull to a complete stop still with Ken finger. I use this model on a mountain bike, and the mt5 model on a fast electric scooter. You won't be disappointed with this setup, plenty of power and very easy to control. Can't ask for anything more

Son excelentes, no se porque hay algunos comentarios contrarios, después de usarlos 10 días frenan perfecto. Ya vienen depurados, los instalas muy facil, quedan un poco largos los cables, mas que nada el de adelante, yo preferi no cortarlos y dejarlos como venian, ya que no tengo experiencia en purgarlos. me quedo delante con una vuelta el cable, lo fije con unos sunchos y listo. El trasero me sobro tambien un poco de cable, pero lo logre disimular un poco. Cuando tenga que hacerles algun mantenimiento acortare los cables y los depurare. Frenada perfecta, lo que dicen que es puro plástico es una exageración, la palanca es hermosa y de metal, la parte plástica es solo una y ni te das cuenta. La única contra es que no tiene tornillos ALEN, tiene esos malditos en estrella, cuando todo en las bicicletas es llave alen y con solo tres medidas te podías arreglar, es muy de H d .... poner estas llaves estrella, pero bueno, esta de moda no compatibilizar las cosas y complicarle la vida a los ciclistas

Fitted these to my NS surge hardtail with new 180mm Storm HC discs front and rear, really strong braking performance with superb modulation, in fact i would say these are possibly the best feeling brakes i've used. The one finger lever is very comfortable and balance between front and rear feels perfect to me. I managed to shorten the rear hose without needing to rebleed but when shortening the front i knocked the lever so i would recommend grabbing a bleed kit, i got one from total bleed solutions, just in case. Bleeding was incredibly easy and was perfect first attempt. If you're not mechanically minded or you're ham fisted get a local bike shop to fit them, the instructions are clear but do need to be followed precisely to ensure a good result. A torque wrench is vital. All in all these are great performing brakes that look really good, i will definitely use Magura brakes again.
