Good ole oil… but the synthetic version, made for vehicles with high mileage. I use it in my 1994 Chevrolet K1500. It was my dad’s truck from 1996 until he passed in 2017 and now it’s mine. We’re at over 362000 miles and still humming along. I usually change the oil somewhere between 3000 and 6000 miles depending on how it’s running. Pair this with the Fram Ultra Synthetic oil filter and that old V8 keeps going like it’s got something to prove. Doesn’t burn, doesn’t bog, doesn’t quit. I drive it like I own it. Might have a bit of a lead foot. This oil has never given me a reason to switch brands. If you're trying to keep something old alive this is one of the few things that just flat out works.
