Q: How many 8 x 4 plasterboard sheets would one can stick?

One can will stick approximately 5 standard plasterboards

Q: Does this stick thermal plasterboards to walls

Yes it does, but be careful of expansion when applying. I've use this product as stand alone and dabbing as stand alone. They work well with each other (use the foam to fill voids and dabbing to hold it solid on walls). On it's own I've found the boards like to warp, especially on 8x4 boards. Hope this helps

Q: Does it require a special applicator tool?

Yes you will need it to use Mega Stik. Other option to use SoudaBond Easy Hand Held foam can so u dont have to buy the Foam Gun.
