I’ve been really happy with the DJI Flip so far. It’s surprisingly stable in the air and handled 15 mph wind gusts on my first flight better than I expected for a small drone. The camera quality is excellent. Photos and videos come out sharp and smooth, and the stabilization works great. Build quality also feels solid and well made. Nothing about it feels cheap. It’s also very easy to learn and fly, even if you’re new to drones. The app and controls are straightforward, and I was comfortable flying it pretty quickly. Overall it’s a great drone if you want something portable, capable, and beginner friendly.

What a fun little drone! It's super portable and quick to launch, and the camera is actually great on it. I use this for quick shots in a lot of places where it would be more difficult/conspicuous to launch my bigger Air 3S, such as when I'm out disc golfing or hiking... or if I'm just out and about and see an amazing sunset. Works great with an RC 2 controller, but it's also fun to use with just your phone/voice commands too. (Just be aware that it has some limitations in those modes -- e.g. no 4K/60fps, and no control of shutter speed/ISO.) One small gripe is that it only has front obstacle avoidance... so you must be extra careful if flying backwards or sideways, and/or you're in one of the auto-modes that involves flying backwards or sideways. Despite this, I think this would still make a great first drone for someone. IMO this (camera) drone is probably the best bang for the buck right now, if decent video/image quality is important and your budget is limited. (The Neo's camera is just nowhere near as good, and other options cost way more.)

This Drone works great right out of the box. Have had connection and video problems with past drones but this one has worked really well. Video hooks up and records easily. DJI Flip Drone keeps a stable picture even though it is lightweight. Flight time seems about average and takes a big hit when it is windy, but overall it has been an excellent drone.

Because of the truly awful winter we're having I've only flown this once, and indoors at that. But... The app is intuitive and has a ton of functionality, the drone is well built, easy to use and has the best camera of any drone at its price point and the controller feel solid and well made and looks to be easy to use. I'm really psyched about this purchase and can't really for some warm weather to really put it to use!

This drone is simply fantastic! The 48MP camera captures stunning detail, even in low light, matching the quality of much pricier models like the Mini 4 Pro. The 4K 100FPS slow-motion capability is incredible, but keep in mind that you’ll need a V60 or V90 microSD card to record it properly. Internal storage (2GB) works but is very limited, allowing only about 1.5 minutes of 4K 100FPS video. Flight performance is top-notch, with a strong GPS signal, stable RC control, and excellent wind resistance despite the built-in propeller guards. While it might have slightly less wind resistance than the Mini 4 Pro, it still performs exceptionally well. The propeller guards add an extra layer of safety, protecting against collisions and even bird attacks—there are real examples of drones surviving pigeon encounters thanks to them! With a 500m altitude limit, you can capture breathtaking views of skyscrapers, mountains, and landscapes. The drone is incredibly fun to fly, safe for tight environments, and overall a phenomenal product at this price point. Owning the DJI Flip for over 2 months I have tested every feature and I impressed with the quality and design of the Flip.Being my first professional rc drone I was not the biggest expert when flying but with app and plenty of resources and tutorials for this drone I was never disappointed with my purchase. Flying without the remote: Being under 250 Grams I wasn’t expecting a lot of features but with smart video modes like “Boomerang” and “Rocket” this compact drone can be a mini personal photographer (you don’t need someone to control it for you because of it’s AI tracking features). Flying with a remote: When flying with the RCN3 controller this drone is just like any other DJI drone. With its front LiDar ,beginners won’t have to worry about crashing it. Also it’s high quality boasts 48 megapixel photos and 4K video at 60 frames per second in 10 bit color, so no worries on the camera’s quality. I ordered this drone for my son for Christmas and he was beyond excited when he opened it. We talked about how this wasn't some basic "Amazon" drone and that made him even more excited. Unfortunately, I believe we just received a lemon because after a few days of troubleshooting, including a phone call with DJI we learned that this one has to go back because it can't connect to satellite. It would be nice if you could fly it a short distance without connectivity so he could've played at least a little bit. I'll be looking to replace this one and hopefully have a much more positive follow-up review. (DJI service was good and thorough but unfortunately the conversation ended with "send it back").

Und ich muss sagen, ich bin echt zufrieden! Vorteile: • Einfache Bedienung: Sie ist super einfach zu fliegen, auch ohne viel Erfahrung. Die QuickShot-Modi (wie Dronie oder Helix) machen echt coole Aufnahmen mit nur einem Klick! • Kompakt: Sie lässt sich zusammenfalten und passt in fast jede Tasche – perfekt für den Urlaub oder auf Reisen. • Gute Bildqualität: Die 4K-Kamera macht echt gute Videos und Fotos – für eine Drohne in dieser Preisklasse ist das klasse. • Hinderniserkennung: Sie erkennt Hindernisse nach unten, was hilft, wenn du nahe am Boden fliegst. Nachteile: • Begrenzte Reichweite: Bei Steuerung mit dem Smartphone kommt man nur etwa 100 Meter weit. Aber mit der Fernbedienung geht’s weiter. • Kein FPV-Modus: Es gibt keinen First-Person View, was schade ist, wenn man das Fluggefühl intensiver erleben möchte. • Keine Rundum-Hinderniserkennung: Sie erkennt Hindernisse nur nach unten – also nicht für enge, komplexe Umgebungen geeignet. Fazit: Alles in allem ist die DJI Flip eine super Einsteiger-Drohne. Sie ist leicht zu bedienen, liefert tolle Bilder und ist perfekt für Reisende und Vlogger. Klar, sie hat ihre Einschränkungen, aber für den Preis bekommst du echt viel geboten! Ich bereue den Kauf nicht!

En lätthanterig drönare med god bild kvalitet.

Dopo aver visto e provato un mini 3 mi sono innamorato e ho deciso di buttarmi in questa passione, sapendo che dji avrebbe lanciato nuovi prodotti ho atteso e finalmente è uscito il flip. Le prime recensioni uscite non erano entusiasmanti, in parte a causa di un errore di comunicazione da parte di dji che riportava come prezzo di lancio 439€ solo drone, in realtà nel prezzo è compreso il radiocomando rc-n3 e quindi si ha già il kit completo per volare e sfruttarlo al 100%. La seconda criticità riguarda una scarsa resistenza al vento che ha portato a diversi giudizi negativi. Premetto che è il mio primo drone e l'unico provato oltre al mini 3. Dal mio punto di vista è un gran prodotto, lo si può tirare fuori al volo per fare dei quickshot senza nemmeno passare dall'applicazione, lo puoi usare da solo, col telefono e col radiocomando, la batteria ha una buona autonomia e la qualità del sensore è pazzesca, fa dei video e delle foto davvero impressionanti, e per chi come me ha una passione per la fotografia ti da modo di sbizzarrirti anche gestendo manualmente le impostazioni, oltre a registrare video in dlog-m per poter poi fare post produzione. Dopo due giorni l'ho portato nello zaino in montagna, mentre sciavo e l'ho fatto volare a 2500 metri di quota senza il minimo problema, fatto volare nel mezzo di un lago anche con poca luce e zero problemi, avessi avuto un altro drone non avrei potuto fermarmi sulle piste e fare dei video in 2 minuti senza dovermi collegare al radiocomando e app. Effettivamente rispetto al mini 3 messi uno accanto all'altro si vede ad occhio che soffre il vento, il flip stava inclinato per mantenere la posizione mentre il mini 3 era più fermo, ma c'è da dire che la camera è talmente stabilizzata che difficilmente questo si riflette nella qualità dei video finali. Nelle recensioni viste tutti lo provavano su una scogliera con vento forte, ovvio che se devi fare delle riprese per lavoro e portare a casa il risultato in qualsiasi condizione, questo drone può avere dei limiti, ma per tutto il resto è una enorme evoluzione del neo, molto più stabile, molta più qualità video e più autonomia. Per chi come me si vuole divertire a volare e a fare video e foto creative il flip è il massimo, lo porti nello zaino e quando ti viene l'ispirazione lo tiri fuori e in 2 secondi porti a casa il risultato, col radiocomando tira fuori il meglio di sé e ci fai bene o male le stesse cose di un mini. In molti hanno criticato l'estetica, ovviamente è personale a me piace molto, sembra uscito da star wars, poi il drone deve funzionare bene non è un oggetto di design, ma a me piacciono anche i mini. Unico accorgimento quando lo apri si accende in automatico (si può disattivare questa funzione), è molto comodo ma bisogna ricordarsi di rimuovere prima la protezione della camera, altrimenti questa inizia a fare la calibrazione e "sbatte" contro la cover protettiva, non so se possa creare problemi ma visto che il gimbal sembra una cosa delicata meglio ricordarsi di togliere la cover prima. Per il resto io sono pienamente soddisfatto
