This item is faulty. Bought 2 for a 2-week trip to Europe. Tried to plug it in & the included power cord did NOT FIT into the unit. There I was in Europe, unable to plug in ANYTHING = extreme frustration. Always double check all aspects of anything you hope to plug in. I could not believe I then had to carry 2 heavy, unusable power converters for 2 weeks on my trip. Very disgusted with this company and with Amazon for selling such a product without checking out what they are sending to trusting customers.

We traveled through 7 countries in Europe and this worked in them all. We were able to charge all of our devices at night, and we even plugged it in in on the tour bus as a charging stateion during the day. Great purchase. This actually CONVERTS 220v to American 110v. It is NOT just an adapter that will mely your 110v devices. When it is working hard, a fan will come on inside to help keep it cool. It also comes with an assortment of plugs. However, the standard plug worked in all countries except England - I used the included three pronged plug there.
