Efficient tool for math classes
Got these for my class of 10 seventh graders to use on a whiteboard. I was hand drawing a grid before I got these. Now I just slap them on my dry erase board and go! The size is perfect for classroom, not too small to read but doesn’t take up the entire whiteboard. It doesn’t slip or curl on the edges. Wipes up easy. I’ve even taped things to it with no issues. A wise investment if you teach 2D math and beyond.

Useful learning tool
Easy to clean, magnets hold well. They've been useful in helping my daughter with her geometry class. Much easier to see than using graph paper, and they're reusable. Recommend.

Answers a need I didn't realize I had!
I don't do math anymore if I don't have to, but I do a lot of design work. I have a magnetic whiteboard that does fine for free-form drawing, but sometimes the elements have to fit into a space of a definite size. Having the grids I can just stick to the whiteboard gives me the option to play with sizes and spaces. I've also used it when I wanted to rearrange a room, I cut paper pieces to scale and drew on the gridded board the dimensions of the room. That let me see if I was setting myself up for a significant disappointment without actually having to move furniture around. I wanted to add some home gym equipment into a room, but having this spatial visual let me see that maybe something needed to go into another room.

Great for a teacher
I have tried this out with my kids and not only are the magnets decently strong, but this is big enough that if you are trying to teach a few kids at once you can give them each a quadrant and get them going. That said, this is best used for teachers (especially math ones) so they can easily have a grid on their board to go over key concepts. It is easily cleanable with a dry cloth and I have not had any staining so far, unlike other mats. Overall, a great buy if not a bit specialized.
