Excellent product. Convenient and works well without issue.
I have been using 5.24" slot-in hard disk caddies for years. They make it so easy to mirror the contents of one hard drive to another. Essential for backing-up my photo collection, etc. Your needs may be similar. Caddies are getting harder to find as most desktop cases nowadays have far fewer external slots available. This FIDECO has USB-3 for speed, can take 2.5" and 3.5" drives [two of each] AND has two USB-3 ports on the front PLUS a microSD card slot - also on the front. The drives just 'post' into place. There is a power-switch on the rear. The unit needs mains power to work via the 'brick' supplied. There is automatic power-down of the inserted hard drives. Mine seems to take longer than the twenty minutes since large drive access but it does operate. Easy to tell by touching the 3.5" drives to detect any vibration. They definitely stop spinning. Works very well indeed. Surprisingly speedy, too. Definitely not slow. Capable of shifting many gigabytes in a short time. In case it matters: this is a six-core, Phenom 5 5600 motherboard, with 16Gb of RAM. FIDECO unit looks good in matt black. Has non-slip feet so unit does not 'waltz' or vibrate when drives active. Excellent value for money. An ideal modern alternative to disk caddies. Recommended without reservation. Hope helpful!

Excellent little hub which works with laptops and our TV USB port (it might not with others)
I've had a number of these sort of bay/hubs over the years and this is an excellent little bay, delivered quickly and well packaged which also works connected to our TV USB port (it might not with others - test at your own risk). I have the model (there are a few) which has the wider spaced USB ports on the front which allows even fat kingston usb sticks (see other review) to be used in tandem and unit gives good transfer speeds depending on ports/drives used of course. Simple to set up - plug and play/go even with our TV Its very compact despite catering for 3.5 and 2.5 sata drives, AND USB sticks, and better looking (opinion) than my older red ones. ** Clone feature is atrociously slow and limited and actually seems CONSIDERABLY slower and more basic than using this same hub connected to a PC and using a window freeware utility to clone with the 2 way sata overhead. I glued the button on my older drives to prevent accidental use. Just as hub - File transfer gives very reasonable speeds read and write (depending on USB ports) I think other reviews have dealt with much of the rest.

Easy to use
It works straightforward, I didn't have any problems with windows 11 drivers. I have not tested the transfer speed yet but it seems fast enough for my needs.

So Far, So VERY Good!
I purchased FIDECO's SATA/IDE - USB adapter last year, and I've been really impressed by how useful it's been; when I needed a SATA dock and I saw this, then, I thought I'd give it a go. I haven't had the chance to fully test everything just yet, but what I have tested works very well indeed. Just like the adapter, this thing is extremely useful; when I'm not using it as an external dual-drive for backups, I'm using it to transfer photos from my camera's SD card and charge up my camera's battery and power-bank - all at the same time! If it continues to work as expected, this dock is excellent value for money. I've no idea if the transfer rates are as claimed, if the USB is deffinately 3.0, if the dock really can handle up to 16TB of dual HDD capacity, or (if as others have observed) it over-heats and crashes under certain circumstances - I just don't have the means to test any of these specs - however, from what I've seen from other reviews, at least some of the stats seem promising. Well made for the price point - I love the light rubbery finish (even it if is a bit of a fingerprint magnet). So far, so VERY good!

For the price Excellent and great after service. Recommended.
Docking Station worked brilliantly for about 8 months before developing an intermittent fault with the power supply which meant that it stopped running my 10TB drive I use for backup. (It continued to manage 3TB drives and SSD's). I had a similar power supply of the same voltage left from previous tech which fitted the unit; and I was back in business! What about this for service? I made arrangements to return the Docking Station before I had diagnosed the faulty power supply. This was arranged with the usual Amazon efficiency. I thought I would try one last ditch test of swapping out the power supply. Happily, I identified the fault and a suitable workaround. I cancelled the return and notified the seller... So I have a perfectly working unit again, and they still offered me a 50% refund. What great customer service - I would buy from them again - made my day! I declined the refund as I thought they deserved the money just for making me smile! Thank you guys for your thoughtfulness. Accepting that I may have just had a duff power supply - otherwise I cannot fault the setup. Does exactly what it is supposed to. Straight-forward and efficient on my PC with Windows 10 setup. If you need to clone drives with or without your computer; or just run a couple of additional drives externally via USB3 - buy one of these - great value.

Delighted with this Docking Station for 2.5 and 3.5 Sata Drives, & does a great job at cloning too.
Really pleased with this HD caddy, for both 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch SATA drives, and with a bonus, that it will create a clone from one drive to the other. In my images, the large drive is an old Sata 3.5 inch Mechanical Hard drive, and the small drive is a SATA 2.5 inch SSD. I placed the drives in the correct place, this is VITAL to get the drives the right way round, otherwise you could end up copying an empty drive to a full drive. So make sure the source drive goes into HD1 and that the destination drive goes into HD2. During the cloning process, the first blue LED shows when 25% done, the second blue LED shows when 50% done, and the 3rd LED shows when 100% complete, then all 3 LEDs will be lit up. There is one problem, but not serious, it is not clear at all which section is for HD1 and which section is HD2, and this is why it would be quite easy to get the drives the wrong way round when cloning. Anyway, It did a perfect job in the end, very impressive, and of course, dont forget, it also reads 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch drives when connected to your laptop USB socket. There are also additional inputs for various USB devices, which also show up on your laptop / computer. I am Really delighted, and other than the lack of clarity as to which is HD1 and which is HD2, this is an absolute must. Thank you. Please see my images which show more.

Excellent
Bought to replace a similar model which after 5 years of continuous 24/7 use had become unreliable. Easy to use, light weight, 2 spare USB port and card readers on the front.

Nice and fast, handy frot USB and SD readers, but may have some incomppatibility with SSDs
Nice and fast, handy to have usb ports on the front and reads microSD cards at USB3 speed too. Used with a lot of HDDs, but I'm dropping a star because it doesn't read some of my SSD drives (Integral V series) which other docks (tecknet) have no problem with. Overall happy with it.

Pro veloci: Plug and play totale: infili HDD/SSD SATA (2.5" o 3.5"), colleghi USB 3.0 al PC e compare subito come unità esterna – zero driver, riconoscimento istantaneo su Windows/Mac. 🎹💾
