Does what it supposed to do. Spinning and stirs and is magnetic. Long life of use so yeah it a spinny mixy thing that does exactly that. Also make a usable manet for posting kid artwork on the fridge

I wish the magnet was stronger. They work, but they'd be capable of higher speeds if the magnets were just a little stronger. The product arrived as described with no real problems. They'll definitely do the job.

I needed 1-inch bars but i did not know that at the time. The quality of the coating is nice you can easily reuse these so long as they do not get scratched. it came as a pack of 12 and the original stir plate I purchased only came with 2 so these will last for some time. The magnet could be a bit stronger and if you do not have a strong stir plate this may is not the best for you also you. the size of your beaker will usually dictate whatsize you need but these work well for graduated cylinders.

I use stir bars for all kinds of things around my lab - including keeping my instant-drinks well mixed (protip: copper sulfate solution and blue gatorade can appear disturblingly similar. Pay attention!) Usually budget-friendly stir bars lack the ridge in the middle - which is unfortunate as it makes a world of difference in performance, especially in more viscous liquids. These have that ridge, the PTFE appears genuine (no reactions or staining) - and they behave well with my six different mag-stirrers around the lab. I find the 30mm units pretty perfect for my general use with beakers and the like - and given the pricepoint and performance, I'll gladly come back for other sizes when needed. Recommended!

These I believe to be about the right size for most uses, by controlling the speed that they spin most likely you would be able to find a suitable rate of control.

Work exactly as needed. Come as shown in picture. Perfectly weighted. Useful for many applications such as experiments, mixing drinks, or other liquids together, etc. Perfect size. Also magnetic. Work great for what I needed.

These spin well and do a great job for this size stir bar. They are very uniform in shape and true to size.

They are balanced and are holding up well in the autoclave.
