Good Vinyl paint! Boat looks new.
Works amazingly well. Doesn't last as long as original, but a really good fix for sun faded vinyl.

Made my seats look like new
I used this to dye the seats in my ‘98 Sea Ray boat. The seats were prepped using the SEM vinyl scrub soap and vinyl prep (both available from Amazon). I prepped the seat cushions and, once they were completely dry, I applied the coating as directed. The dye adhered great and looks amazing. I HIGHLY recommend doing the application when it is hot, sunny and dry (little to no humidity) outside. Use lint free cloth to clean with the vinyl prep and do not touch with bare hands (oil from skin could cause not to adhere). I sprayed multiple coats and the coverage was great. I used about 12 cans to do all of my seat cushions and they came out great. The dye also restores the pliability and soft feel of the vinyl. Once completed, I allowed the cushions to sit in the sun each day for about a week. Do not store the items you dye with coated surfaced leaning against or touching anything as the dye may adhere and pull off before it is fully cured. It took time and patience, but my seats look great and are holding up great under use. Just remember, your end results may vary if you don’t invest the time and money into properly preparing the substrate.

It took 4 coats plus to cover all of the dark spots on my seats, but they now look and feel brand new.
Day 1 review: Overall very positive. It took 4 coats plus some extra coats in a few places to cover all of the dark spots on my seats, but they now look and feel brand new. I painted the seats in place, out doors on a breezy day with temperature in the mid 70's. I went through the recommended process of 1st cleaning the seats with a water bleach mixture to kill mold, 2nd using the SEM 39362 Soap SEM 39362 Soap - 15 oz. with a scuff pad, 3rd spraying on the SEM 38343 Vinyl Prep SEM 38343 Vinyl Prep - 13.3 oz. and wiping it off with a cloth and 4th spraying the SEM M25083 Carver White Marine Vinyl Coat SEM M25083 Carver White Marine Vinyl Coat - 12 oz. . I used 1.5 spray cans per seat, I'm guessing this was because it was a breezy day and it seemed like half the spay blew away in the wind. On the plus side, the 5-10 minute wait between coats so I could complete the entire boat in a day. On the down side, each spray can started to drip at sometime while I was using it. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the spray tip, my technique or that I was painting the seats in place and had to tilt the spray can horizontal to get the seat surfaces. On the other hand, the paint is very thin and the drops are easily covered with the next coat. Unfortunately, I did not cover the floor of the boat so I have a polka dot pattern now. I'm hoping a pressure washer will remove the polka dots. My only question now is how to clean the seats going forward. I'll probably stick with mild detergent, water and a sponge. The real test will be time. My boat is docked in a saltwater bay close to the ocean. If I remember, I'll update this post at the end of the season or at the start of the next season.

Works well. Wish there was more in the can
Works well. Not tacky / sticky on seats. Worked way better than imagined to give the seats a little more life . However, can goes quickly! Had to buy two. Could have been more I. The can for how much it costs.

Good product
Works great, just buy more than you think you'll need, especially for a color change or covering stains.

Works great on spray painted vinyl
We used this on our freshly painted vinyl boat sets. First we painted the seats and waited for 24 hours then applied this as a finish coat. It worked well as a top coat which should seal the fresh painting job and help it last longer. We just painted the boat seats a few months ago but then put our boat away so we won't know until next year how well the painted seats will last. We used them a couple of weeks after we painted them and they looked great and didn't chip or crack. So far so great!!

Sem carver white vinyl boat seats
So far it looks and came out great! I’ll update as time goes on. I just had some light fading in the seats or deep mold that would not come out with any marine or commercial cleaner that I wanted to clean up. I’m sure it’s not a long term solution but from what I’ve read and seen people are getting 2-4 seasons out of a few coats!
