Quality sound deadening that adheres to body panels well. You can easily hear the vibration reduction after just the first piece by tapping on the body panel before and after.

Works well and sticks well. I used a roller and it has been over a year and everything still sticking as good as day i put it everywhere. I didnt use any adhesive but I did wipe everything down with acetone before I applied. Good stuff at a good price

This is one of the good ones. There are other brands just as good, and manny brands are worse, but this handles well, rolls down easily, doesn't come off at all easily, and adapts to dips and curves like a champ. Appropriately heavy and dead, I'm happy with the way it smothers panel resonances and even at muffling direct sound, like a big hand over my Uncle Harry's eternally noisy mouth. You can rip the foil but you have to work hard at doing that. Remember to buy a brayer; you can roll overlaps nice and thin. Also remember to pre-wipe the sheet metal with a decent solvent like acetone or Stoddard/Varsol. It should last forever.

I used this in my single cab pickup truck (89 ford.) It only took half the box (10 sheets or 25 square feet) to do the floors, but I bought the big box because I plan to do the doors, back wall, and maybe the roof as well. One thing I learned is that the temperature matters when you’re doing the installation. It was around 55F when I started in the evening, and when it dipped down into the 40s the sheets would not stick to the metal, and were hard to compress with the roller. That’s why I ended up only doing the floors and not any vertical surfaces; i will have to wait for a nice hot day. The other thing is that the foil layer on top is razor sharp at the edges, definitely wear gloves! I didn’t notice until after but I have little papercuts all over my fingers. Aside from those things, the install was easy and straightforward. The sheets cut easily with scissors, and any goo that ends up on your hands or scissors can be cleaned up with acetone (nail polish remover), or lacquer thinner. I would use this stuff again.

Amazing the difference it makes on dumping the noise. Very easy to install. Pell and stick literally! Great!

When I finish the project I will know if it is a good sound barrier other than that it’s great

Worked great for my application. Lined the inside of my trunk in my classic Chevy. Materiel was easy to work with and applies very well. I actually did it all by hand with no tools. Took some time but turned out great. Material is thin so it’s not the most sound deadening stuff that you can buy. Served the purpose that I wanted.

I used this for my car doors during speaker upgrade. Audio sounds better and road noise significantly less. Highly recommended.

El paquete contiene 20 laminas de 60x40 cm, dando un total de 4.8 metros cuadrados, el material es de un tipo de butilo bastante pegajoso al tacto, el cual no contiene ningún olor a caucho, chapopote o llanta, lo que es bueno para que no se llene la cabina del auto de malos olores. Se recomienda en el instructivo limpiar la lamina perfectamente y aplicar algún desengransante o alcohol para eliminar cualquier grasa o aceite, en paneles verticales se puede usar una pistola de calor para calentar la lamina y que se adhiera mejor, es lo recomendado por el fabricante. Una vez instalado el sonido de los paneles, sobre todo de los grandes cambia mucho, no es un aislante auditivo, no va a evitar que entre por completo el sonido exterior pero si ayuda, sobre todo con sonidos de frecuencia alta, ademas de ayudar con las vibraciones, la instalación es cansada porque es necesario presionar fuerte para que no queden burbujas entre el material y la lamina, es maleable y no complicado de acomodar. Hice una prueba pegándolo a una lamina y calentando el otro lado con un encendedor, no se despego ni se derritió, con la flama directa genera llama pero al retirar el encendedor se extingue, por lo que no es inflamable y seguro para el cableado. Debería alcanzar bien para los paneles externos de las puertas y paneles de guardafangos traseros, ademas del suelo de la cajuela y su tapa, ya para el suelo completo de la cabina se necesitaría otro paquete, he cubierto los 2 guardafangos traseros y los paneles de los mismos y utilice 3 laminas de las 20.
