Green People Fennel & Propolis Toothpaste, 50ml

I was a bit dubious about ordering this due to other reviews of this product. I was looking for a fluoride free toothpaste and having used this company before decided to give it a go. It isn't like the stuff you buy in supermarkets. It isn't thick either. I picked the fennel flavour because its flavour I love. Have been using it for a month now and I am very happy with this product. Yes it is thinner, the flavour is not strong which I like, its just right. But the biggest thing is having used colgate and others I had terrible trouble with a build up of plaque and despite doing everything it never went away. Since using this it has vanished, I still floss my teeth but they are clean now and my gums feel so much more healthy. So despite the price I will be continuing to use this toothpaste.

Bought this 4 times now the taste is lovely also if I stop using this and use another fluoride free toothpaste my gums flare up again. As soon as I use this again the inflamation calms down. I wont use anything else now

I've tried a few different fluoride free toothpastes and this is one of my favourites. My teeth feel clean afterwards (though you do miss the tingle of mint a bit initially) and it doesn't leave a bad aftertaste. I'm not fussy, but those who are might turn their nose up at the flavour - it's very herbal and mildly sweet like honey. So, the fluoride vs no fluoride debate is a big thing... technically fluoride is very bad for you, particularly in large amounts so logic would dictate that smaller amounts over a longer time would be too. However, it does provide some short lived benefits for you orally. The theory is, fluoride strengthens your enamel (short term) to mitigate damage that acid producing bacteria cause. In a lot of toothpastes (or more so with mouthwashes) there are also things which are highly detrimental to bacteria in the mouth (good and bad). In fluoride free toothpastes, the focus is entirely on antibacterial action against bad bacteria. Fennel has many organic compounds which show antibacterial activity (anethole, estragole etc) against a range of pathogenic/decay causing/bad breath causing bacteria in vitro (in the lab). Propolis I'm not so sure about, the properties probably vary a lot depending on where the propolis comes from but it's reported to be antibacterial too (might just be a piggy back on the research behind manuka honey being antibacterial, orally). Humans got along fine without fluoride for long enough, perhaps our diets are what we should really be looking at. Either way, this caused no harm. I use a normal toothpaste and this in rotation to hedge my bets!

I have super sensitive teeth and believed I could only survive with colgate pro sensitive and sensodine. Not so! No sensitivity issues with this Love the fennel flavour, only need a little bit and it's a nice consistency. If I've eaten sweets or chocolate I do still use a fluoride toothpaste as recommended by my dentist. But for 95% of the time this is great. I use bee propolis as a mouth wash and on an interdental brush for any problem areas it's working great in conjunction with this, and hopefully protecting my gut flora.

Flavour is ok, teeth felt clean at the time but it didn't last. I am careful with my diet, no added sugar, refined carbs or fruit juice so normally my teeth stay feeling clean all day but felt coated within a few hours with this toothpaste. Would need to brush at lunchtime as well, not sure if l would buy again.

I have been using this toothpaste for over a year. I will never use any of the big brands again. My mouth feels fresh after using it and it has a unique taste that Ive grown to enjoy. Most important for me, there is no flouride and no sls. Great product.

Depuis déjà 3 mois environ et j'espère pour longtemps encore, elle ne souffre plus de ces douloureux aphtes. Merci aux fabricants de ce produit.

Lieferung Die Lieferung hat bei mir etwas länger gedauert als erwartet. Dafür kamen die drei Tuben unbeschädigt an und waren sauber verpackt. Anwendung & Geschmack Fenchel und Propolis begleiten meine Hausapotheke schon seit vielen Jahren, deshalb fand ich diese Zahnpasta sofort interessant. Der Preis ließ mich zunächst allerdings schlucken. Nach den ersten Anwendungen war meine Skepsis aber schnell verflogen. Ich achte bewusst darauf, Zahncremes ohne zusätzliches Fluorid zu verwenden und habe im Laufe der Zeit viele Alternativen ausprobiert. Häufig war mir dabei irgendetwas zu viel oder zu wenig – zu scharf, zu mild, zu viel Schaum, zu wenig Schaum oder einfach kein wirklich frisches Mundgefühl. Hier passt das Gesamtbild für mich erstaunlich gut. Die Zahnpasta reinigt gründlich, hinterlässt ein angenehm sauberes Mundgefühl und kommt dabei ganz ohne die typische Minzschärfe aus. Gerade empfindliches Zahnfleisch empfinde ich nach dem Putzen als angenehm beruhigt und nicht gereizt. Die Zähne fühlen sich sauber an, das Zahnfleisch bleibt entspannt und das gesamte Pflegegefühl ist ausgesprochen angenehm. Das Produkt hat mich so überzeugt, dass ich es inzwischen sogar im Freundeskreis weiterempfohlen und bereits geteilt habe – und das tatsächlich aus voller Überzeugung. 🦷🌿

Heute geht es um die Fenchel Propolis Zahnpasta von Green People. Diese kommt in einem Triple Pack mit dreimal 50 ml Tuben bei mir an. Damit enthält eine Tube ein Drittel weniger als die gewohnten Standard Tuben mit 75 ml. Jede Tube ist extra noch einmal versiegelt, so dass die Hygiene absolut sichergestellt ist, das finde ich positiv. Ich habe das Produkt sowohl mit einer Hand Zahnbürste als auch mit meiner elektrischen Zahnbürste ausprobiert. Die Reinigungsleistung der Zahnpasta empfinde ich als sehr gut. Meine Zähne fühlen sich nach dem putzen, sauber und gepflegt an. Es ist zu spüren, dass dieses Produkt nicht aggressiv zu Zähnen oder Zahnfleisch ist. Sehr positiv finde ich auch die überwiegend natürlichen und biologisch zertifizierten Inhaltsstoffe. Sie enthält übrigens KEIN Fluorid. Der Geschmack mit Fenchel, Propolis und den ätherischen Ölen ist allerdings ziemlich gewöhnungsbedürftig. Diese Zahnpasta ist absolut nicht mit einer klassischen Minzzahnpasta vergleichbar. Sie schäumt für mein empfinden deutlich zu wenig, und insgesamt fehlt mir beim putzen das gewohnte frische Gefühl. Außerdem hinterlassen die Putzkörper bei mir das Gefühl, dass sie teilweise etwas grob sind. Da kann ich mich aber auch irren und es sind die ungewohnten Inhalsstoffe, dass weiß ich nicht so genau. Bei einem Preis von über 20 € für drei recht kleine Tuben finde ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis insgesamt eher mäßig. In meinen Augen ist es eine ordentliche Zahnpasta mit guter Reinigungsleistung, aber geschmacklich und preislich nicht so ganz mein Favorit.

Für Menschen, die sehr gesundheitsbewusst sind und gesteigerten Wert auf biologische Inhaltsstoffe ohne Fluorid oder künstliche Schaumbildner wie SLS legen, ist diese Fenchel- und Propolis-Zahnpasta von Green People das Richtige. Diese spezielle Naturkosmetik spricht sicher viele Käufer an, die auch bereit sind, den hohen Preis zu bezahlen. Ich fand den Test interessant und die Reinigungsleistung gut, aber ansonsten spricht mich das Produkt leider nicht an. Die Schaumbildung fällt ohne chemische Tenside spürbar gering aus, was für mich die Anwendung gewöhnungsbedürftig macht. Auch der ungewöhnliche Fenchelgeschmack erfordert eine deutliche Umgewöhnung und ich muss sagen, dass ich den gewohnten Frischekick im Mund vermisse. Für mich persönlich ist diese Zahnpasta nichts, da ich den Geschmack nicht sonderlich mag und ich die Vorteile nicht sehe.

I have been really happy with this toothpaste and especially like the flavour, which is fresh and pleasant without being overly strong. It leaves my mouth feeling clean and refreshed after brushing, and I like the combination of fennel and propolis as something a little different from the usual mint based toothpastes. The texture is good, it spreads easily across the teeth and doesn't require a large amount each time, so the smaller tubes last reasonably well. I also appreciate having three tubes in the pack, as it offers good convenience and means there is always a spare available. It feels like a good quality product and has been pleasant to use as part of my everyday dental routine. Overall, I am very happy with it. It tastes good, leaves a really clean feeling and the three pack offers good value for money. A nice alternative if you want something a little different from standard toothpaste.
