Good quality oil and great moisturiser
I bought this after seeing it reviewed on YouTube and was recommended this brand as it is pure good quality oil, no additives! Oil is very thick and when it first comes out you feel like it is going to make your skin really sticky but when once rubbed in that feeling disappears as it really does just soak into the skin and make it feel soft. I've been using it for a week now so can't comment in the long term effectiveness but my skin feels softer already. I would recommend this as a night time moisturiser, its a bit heavy for daytime. The smell takes some getting used to but isn't unbearable and it hardly bothers me now. I bought the smaller size to check if I like it before splashing out on the bigger version but I'll definitely buy a bigger bottle next time, now I know I like it.

Pure, cold-pressed and, extremely thick
I do not believe I have used such a thick castor oil product before (an old bottle I have provides for a more liquid solution). This Heritage product is pure, castor oil, no nasties and, cold-pressed. I found the oil to be almost of the consistency of glue but, that could be the cold weather but, it does make it hard to apply to the scalp - which is where I used it - much easier to apply to one's skin, I also smoothed some onto my lower legs. On my hair I left it overnight washing it out, easily, in the shower the following morning and, my hair does seem extremely silky and healthy looking. Likewise, my legs, hitherto getting a bit scaly look smoother and, the product sank in fairly quickly after I had applied it. I also applied this to my eyelashes but did wake this morning to stinging in my smile lines so, perhaps that use is not for the faint hearted plus, my eyelashes felt clogged up. Finally, I spread some onto my barely there eyebrows and, this I will continue to do in the hope a few more hairs materialise in the future. You must satisfy yourself as to the many benefits of castor oil but, this is of excellent quality and I like the fact that it is pure and natural, castor oil only with no additives and you can't really go wrong with this brand.

Heritage store Castor Oil.
Heritage Store's castor oil is a fantastic, multi-purpose beauty oil! This cold pressed, hexane-free, vegan, and cruelty-free formula is excellent for nourishing hair, promoting growth for lashes and brows, and moisturising skin. The 118ml bottle offers a good amount of this high quality oil, making it a simple and effective addition to any natural beauty routine. Highly recommend!

Lots Of Uses
I love castor oil but mainly use it fo it's skin properties rather than on my hair. Ig is especially good for hard skin on your feet or cracked heels. Also if lik me you refuse you have a dishwasher, it really does soothe dry skin and great to apply a night to you hands and then add gloves. This is my go to moisturiser in the winter when hands become dry from the cold. Also I suffer from blepharitis and it was suggested by my doctor long ago to use castor oil to help clean the base of my lashes due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties too. You just dap a bit onto a cotton bud and wipe along the lash line then wipe again with a different end with clear , warm, water.. I have just discovered that I can make liquid soap from it too. This small bottle sits nicely in my hand and has a light and clear oil look about it which similar in colour to cooking oil. There is a subtle pleasant scent which when applied has an almost woody scent and isn't off putting. I has a slightly runny consistency added to the palm of my hand and easy to disperse over my hands but is a bit sticky till properly soaked into the skin. I suggest you apply in smlldots of oil at a time rather than big blobs. One it soaks in your skin feels very moisturised and a slight coated but dry feeling, hence why cotton gloves o socks are required. This small bottle is still in use even now in March as I use when required.
