These are excellent and easy to use. I have touched up so many areas around the house that I had not even noticed before just because I now have a tool to do it with. super simple and effective.

OK folks, this is not magic, other reviews have said this is nothing but a set of crayons, which is essentially what it is, Duh! However, if you can find a crayon set with 15+ shades of brown then good luck! These require a little bit of art to them. The best way to apply is to push very hard and slide the stick back-and-forth in all directions to fill in the hole. Then use the scraper to scrape off the excess, then use a hairdryer on the high temperature setting, low fan setting to briefly heat up the area for five seconds, and then polish it with an old towel. You can see from the pictures that it works quite well, however wood grain has variety in colors so this is a bit of an art. Sometimes you need to blend colors. Take your time and it works well. This is a great value, as one stick of varathane, the established brand is about 8 to 9 bucks at HD, so this is a good bargain, with no difference in quality as far as I can tell.

It does get the dent filled with a natural look. If you look from 90 degrees up, the patch is almost unnoticeable. However, it doesn’t give a smooth wood feel, not the consistent shine when seen from an angle. It is definitely noticeable. I would say it is a good temporary fix, but won’t be the permanent fix. Just a disclaimer. That probably is for all these types not necessary for the product.

I had an accident with hot oil on the stove top and it splashed onto my laminate countertop. Luckily not on me! I really like this counter and have been extremely careful with it for the last 8 years. Did a little research and purchased Lifreer Furniture Repair Kit to attempt to repair the burn holes. The kit really does come with everything you need. First, I had to cut away all the de-laminated laminate to expose the fiber substrate. Clean cuts are essential. The really big gouge at the top was soaked with the oil big time. So in order for the fix to take (stick), I thought I would try and draw out as much of the oil as possible with mineral spirits before beginning. Then I started experimenting with color on a piece of cardboard. I chose 5 colors from the kit and blended and mixed. Also for the big and deep holes, I used another brand wood filler instead of the filler the kit comes with. The kit’s wood filler is white. I thought my existing natural color filler would make it easier to match the counter color. I let everything dry thoroughly before proceeding to each following step. The colors seemed to maintain their hue wet or dry and when I finished, I thought I did a pretty good job of matching. Because this is a countertop where cooking splashes will likely happen and cleaning products would be used daily, I thought I should coat the repairs with some polyurethane. I had a can of satin that I used to carefully paint over my work. I used 2 coats. As it dried, I noticed the color turning a bit darker and yellower and the match was not as exact as it had been before that application. Sometime in the future, I may lightly sand the areas and try again. But all in all, I think it passes for a pretty good repair. I would recommend this product for laminate repairs. And good luck!

I purchased this Lifreer Wood Filler Sticks to touch up scratches on my furniture, but unfortunately it didn't work for my project. The markers and wax crayons applied easily, but the color wouldn't adhere well to the furniture surface. The wax seemed to stick more to the crayon itself than to the area I was trying to repair, making it difficult to fill in scratches or get a smooth finish. No matter what I tried, the repair material just wouldn't stay where I needed it. The kit includes a nice variety of colors, but it wasn't effective on my furniture. Unfortunately, I ended up returning it.

My dining room table is only a few months old and my friends dog decided to use it as a chew toy. Needless to say I was not pleased but I bought these wood fillers and was pleasantly pleased with the outcome. From a distance you can’t tell. It’s easy to use. There’s no down time. There’s nothing to dry. Just follow the instructions and and the crayon like material will fill the scratches.

They work okay, but they leave a shiny streak where you used them

This is a great item… exactly what I wanted. Great color choices to match existing areas.

These pens work really well. The colour match is good. Nice not seeing all the little marks on the furniture.

It is a good product

I like how many different colours were in this package that I could find the closet match to try and hide my huge blazing white zigzag scratch. It of course doesn’t take it away but the colour but helps it to fade in with the colour of the floor. I didn’t find my excate match unfortunately. We just moved and some of my future got banged and scratched up. I’m going to use these to touch them up as well. There is enough product to last years. I’m happy with my purchase and encourage others to try it. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

It came in a timely fashion. It worked well on the dark furniture we had. Tried a few Colors until I found the right one.

Cant speak to its filling capabilities because the area I was repairing was too extreme for anything less than an epoxy wood filler (JB Weld kwikWood Eood Repair Epoxy Putty is amazing stuff) but it was a dream to work with for thw cosmetic part of the furnature fix. They give you every colour you would need to match natural or stained wood, even varying grain colours and it handles exactly like a good quality acrylic paint; nice opaque pigment, that thins well with water for a more of a tint than full colour, they blend beautifully and they dry to a nice even mat finish. In addition, unlike most acrylic paints, the colour you paint on is the colour it dries to. The rest of the stuff in the kit is a just a great bonus. Buying another set right now.
