Yes4All Sand-Filled Slam Ball for Strength Training

I have both the 10 lb and 20 lb Yes4All Slam Balls and have been using them regularly for a while now. They’ve held up extremely well to heavy usage and abuse, making them a must-have for any home or commercial gym. I use them for more than just slams, especially for ab exercises. The color matches exactly as shown on the site, and they have a great grippy, rubbery feel. I even verified the weight on a scale, and it’s accurate. Everything I expected. Great product!

I have developed some twinges in my shoulders from sitting online and at my computer mouse and keyboard that have gotten worse over the pandemic. I try to do exercises and stretches and they do help very much. I wanted to test whether exercising with a medicine ball could help so I chose this moderately priced medicine ball. When I pick this up and move it around in a natural way it seems to strengthen my arms and shoulders and even transmit down to my chest and abdomen, and reduce the discomfort in my shoulders. I am pleasantly surprised and have incorporated grabbing this ball and moving it around a few times a week into a loose exercise regime and it seems to help with stengthening, stretching and loosening my upper body. That's just my experience, but if you have similar issues it cannot hurt to try it out and return it if you don't like it.

It's durable and weighs 40 pounds. I'm not thrilled of the raised pattern on the ball as it can be uncomfortable at times but those raised panels do provide extra grip. So it's a bit of a trade off

Not much to say other than this slam ball has a texture that feels good and is easy to hold. As you'd expect, this ball does not bounce so if you are expecting some bounce, you don't want a slam ball. If you want a slam ball, this one is great!

Got the 40 pound slam ball a few months back and been using it regularly for workouts. Really satisfying to pick up and slam down hard - definitely a good stress reliever after a long day. The grip is solid even when your hands get sweaty during intense sessions. The textured surface makes it easy to hold onto without worrying about it slipping. No weird chemical smell either which was nice right out of the box. What I appreciate most is that it has zero bounce. You can really go all out slamming it without having to worry about it jumping back up at you unpredictably. That makes it way safer to use compared to medicine balls that can bounce around. Weight feels accurate to what's advertised. The 30 pounds is challenging but manageable for various exercises - slams obviously but also good for weighted squats, overhead presses, and core work. Build quality seems really durable. Been using it at least 3 times a week for a few months now, both indoors and sometimes outside on the driveway, and it's holding up perfectly with no signs of wear or leakage. Overall a solid piece of home gym equipment. Does exactly what it's supposed to do and feels like it'll last a long time. Good workout and honestly just fun to use when you need to let off some steam.
