My dogs like to run in and out of the house so we figured we would get a dog door to limit the amount of cold air escaping everytime we opened the door. We ordered a few different doors but none of them were tall enough for my long legged guy. I finally found this dog door and was fully impressed as soon as I opened the package. Very sturdy and made well. I could tell I wasn't going to have problems with my dogs breaking the doors. The flaps close well and it was easy for my dogs to learn how to use even my little dachshund has been using it with no problems. My cats have also adopted well to using it. It also comes with a metal plate to put in the inside part when I don't want them outside and it's as equally strong. It was a breeze to install and was definitely worth the money. I highly recommend for dogs of every size.

The door was easy to install and my 15-year-old dog adjusted to it with no problem. The hinges and doors are very durable and the sliding panel locks into place for security and keeps outside air from entering. I only wish I had ordered this sooner!

I purchased the “Large” sized version of this doggie door for my adult Siberian husky. The size fits her perfectly. Quality: Metal framed with plastic doors and hinge inserts. Overall build quality is solid. My dog goes in and out about 10 times an hour it seems, and I’m confident this will hold up to her use over time. Install: Straight forward install with no issues. Cut the door, slide each doggie door side into place and fasten with included hardware. I used some construction adhesive along the inside edges and silicone caulking around the outside edges for water shedding. Reason for Purchase: Recently moved to new house and didn’t bring old doggie door with me. I switched from the doggie door style with the vertical rubber flaps to this plastic French door style. Both styles do a similar job keeping the weather out of the house. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a doggie door.

The dog door instructions were very straightforward and very easy to install. My door is Styrofoam insulated and I had self-tapping screws, and my door is not that thick. So both sides of the French dog door were able to meet in the middle and I was able to screw the two pieces together. It's very solid. My dog, Luke, uses it and I really like the instructions they had on how to get your dog to come out, which I'm still doing after the fourth day of having it. Very pleased with the dog door. Excellent quality exactly what I paid for if I had the need for another dog door I would actually buy it again. And a very reasonably priced I might add.

Why didn’t they have these French doors sooner. The standard dog doors I have used in the past were costing me money often due to replacing the flaps that get worn out so easily AND on a windy day, the flap would blow open and let the heat out. This French door is amazing. I have had it almost 2 months now and have had many windy days and the doors stay closed! Energy efficient and more eye appealing ♥️ So worth the money!
