Halo Top Creamery, Sea Salt Caramel, 16 oz (Frozen)

If you leave this out for a bit so it starts to melt along the top and sides, it has the nicest texture and the taste is top tier. I wish more flavors of this brand were available (like Birthday Cake and mint chocolate!) I mix a bit of granola in and it's a great snack.

Halo Top ice creams are a sweet treasure. Each flavor I've tried are full strength goodness, not light tasting; texture is creamy and even better slightly melted. I am so delighted the large calorie statement on the front label is for the complete pint not per serving. Many times I've indulged on a full carton without the shame-on-yourself consequence. It's fun to place one in front of a friend with a spoon and share this delightful treat. All 3 generations of our family love them and I try to keep them on hand.

I like it but the sea salt caramel is a little off. I love all the other flavors! I still like this one but...yeah a little off. I love the fact I can have it on my diet! Low sugar feels like ice-cream!

The nutrition facts are the best thing about this ice cream. There are only 100 calories, 2g of fat, and 10g of sugar per serving (with 6g of both protein and dietary fiber). That said, the flavor leaves something to be desired. It's hard to put it into words, but it's indicative of a lengthy ingredients list with both recognizable and questionable components. Also, there's an unpleasant aftertaste, and there are not nearly enough caramel swirls in the pint - I find that I keep digging and mostly coming up empty. I don't think I'll be buying this flavor of Halo Top again.
