This is an excellent clock. It is indeed silent and it looks lovely. It is substantial but not large and does not feel cheap in any way. Beautiful colour. We are going to buy another. Buy with confidence.

I'm going to wax lyrical about this alarm clock. As someone who likes to sleep in an environment where there is as little artificial light as possible and with as little sound as possible, this clock is perfect. Unless you hold it close to your ear, the sound of the battery powered mechanism is not discernible as it sits on your bedside table. The clock hands are also NOT glow in-the-dark so you cannot see the clock face or hands in the dark.....unless you push the light button on the back. For sound and light sensitive folk, this is a perfect clock. Doesn't look too shabby either! Seriously, it's a very stylish little clock and the orange (that's the colour I bought) is not in-ya-face orange but more of a low key tangerine colour. UPDATE: I had only had it two days when it stopped working properly. The secondhand kept glitching at the lowest point of its rotation....so between 5 and 6....and this affected the minute and hour hands. So accurate time keeping was out the window. I returned it for a refund. Shame. It was otherwise a very nice clock. A VERY POSITIVE UPDATE: I was contacted by the company who sold me the original clock. They expressed their disappointment at the fact that my experience with the clock had not turned out as expected and that I'd had to return the clock for a refund. As a result they were most generous and gifted me another of the same clock and this new one works perfectly. It is very hard to come by an alarm clock that doesn't make a noise or glow in the dark so I am very grateful that this issue has been resolved. Thank you!! Their customer service was very polite and the conducted themselves with grace. I have restored their rating to 5 stars.

Elegant, sweet alarm clock for the bed table. Bought it for a present and my friend loves it. Highly recommend. The ticking is still audible though, but it's acceptable.

This is a very cute little clock that I use in my dressing room. Well made, good design, and keeps good time. Takes one AA battery. Has an alarm (but I haven’t used it). The movement of the hands is smooth. There is a white button on the back that you can press to briefly light it up. Weighty enough not to get knocked over. However, it is not silent at all. Not overly loud but you should be able to hear it faintly on my video. If I was using it in a different room it might bother me, but for where I’m using it it’s not a problem, in fact, it’s probably a good thing that I’m aware of the clock when I’m getting ready for work.

Bought for our daughters uni room, sweet little clock with a lovely and smooth second hand movement - it swivels to suit your eye level, has an alarm and a small light which doesn’t blind you in the dark, so impressed with it we’re going to get another for our other daughter

Finally a reliable clock.. looks good, lightweight and comes in a variety of colours to choose from. Only downside is the numbers aren’t visible in the night. But all in all, I’d recommend.

The dial on the back fell off ! I really wanted to like this clock but the dial for changing the time fell off when I set it ! I’ve shoved it back on and managed to set to correct time , however it is NOT SILENT! I will try to sleep with it in my room tonight but if it keeps me awake I will have to unfortunately return it , I say unfortunately because it’s a nice looking little clock and I like the colour ( I chose pink )
