Ya le habíamos comprado el paracaídas de natación al niño y nos gustó tanto que decidimos pedir este juego que también trae las ligas de resistencia. La verdad es que estamos muy contentos con la calidad. Es ideal para cuando no tienes una piscina olímpica a mano, porque las ligas te permiten nadar estático y trabajar mucho la potencia. Los materiales se sienten resistentes al cloro y el cinturón es cómodo, no lastima la piel. Si ya tienes el paracaídas, este kit es el paso siguiente para un entrenamiento completo. ¡Muy buena inversión para los que nadan en casa o en piscinas pequeñas!

My last tethered swimming setup finally broke from too much time in the pool and sun. Of all the systems I've used over the years, this one works, but is not my favorite. I am using this in my backyard pool when swimming for fitness so I don't have to stop and turn so much. The pool is about 36' long, and so I couldn't get a good grasp of how effective the parachute is before reaching the wall. But for the swim belt, you need to put the other piece on that holds the D ring you clip the tether to. Then you secure the pole connector loop - I secured mine to the railing of my steps. The tether line is a hollow bungee, which you clip to the loop and your belt. When swimming, the tether would catch or rub against my feet or the back of my calf. The loop on the belt will also shift and if you aren't straight try to go sideways on the belt, further pulling you to the side. When doing something like breaststroke, you can feel the tether bungee pulling you backwards when you glide, so you do move forward and back a little instead of in place. So this system does work and will allow you to static swim - but it does take a little getting used to the different feel on your stroke. I think this is good as an inexpensive way to test out if you will actually like static swimming and will do it before investing more money in a little better setup.

This is a good quality chute for swimming resistance work for the price. The only downside is that the strap holding the chute is not adjustable.

Belt was way too big and complicated. We returned and purchased a different one. Didn't seem fitted to a young person at all. Coach said to return.
