High quality and solidly built-excellent protection
Solid and works great. Super protection for the outlet and plug, very happy with the quality, easy to install. Finish looks great.

Nice product.
Very nice outlet. Easy to install. I run a battery charger for my boat 24 hours a day. Never had it trip and it’s outside in direct weather. Would definitely purchase again.

5-month review - holds up well even with heavy rain
I waited almost 6 months to see how this would hold up before reviewing. It's done better than expected. The outlet I replaced had rusted out and filled with insects. It had completely stopped working. I bought this one because it looked sturdier and higher quality. Where I installed it, there is no overhang. It is completely exposed to the weather and we have had periods of heavy rain. It has held up like a champ. I did put a dab of silicone caulk on the punch out to keep the bugs out.

The door is difficult to open and close, but the box is solid.

Does not work well
[update] the seller was nice enough to respond tonthis and refund some to cover the receptacle. I appreciate sellers like this. -------- This is not true: " the cover plate can stay in the upper position for convenient wiring". It would fall down, so cumbersome to install. The GFCI gets activated (shutdown) when I turn on a 15 amp table saw with a fan turned on high. This is not a problem for another 15 amp outlet, while this is 20 amp outlet. I also cannot close the lid when plugged in.

Not completely whether resistant, which gives it the NEMA 3 rating.
Not a true NEMA 3 weatherproof box. Only the cover is weatherproof, although the GFCI outlet is weather resistant.(WR). The back box is designed to go inside an exterior wall, where it is not exposed to the weather and then with the front cover being the only part outside, it would work as weatherproof.
