The Art of Assassin's Creed Odyssey

I love to collect art books of my favourite games. This one is great. Every pages is beautiful with a fold out in the middle that is just wonderful. I used this as references for a tattoo because the images are that high quality. Worth every penny

The book is high quality, hard back, it shows some amazing art works and concepts, it doesn’t show any DLC stuff but the base game stuff is stunning either way

Stunning artwork that is well presented including a number of fold out pages to fully appreciate larger images. Text is kept to a minimum but is informative and placed not to interfere with the art. If currently playing the game it is worth reading / admiring each chapter in tandem with your progress to add further context and avoid spoilers.

The art within is as incredible as the vistas within the game itself, yet the text accompanying the images does spoil storyline developments within the game itself. I would recommend not reading this book until you have completed the main storyline of the game, for maximum enjoyment of the plot.

this art book is absolutely stunning! i would have loved more content on the interior decoration, pottery, and the outfits, but that's just personal preference. there's a lot of concept art, and each main character has a bit of info. i prefer art books that go into more depth for the characters because this focuses much more on the landscapes and city scenes etc, but its quality more than makes up for this. a gorgeous gift (to myself)!

Love it, the art, the commentary. Worth the purchase

Really lovely art book that compliments the game fantastically! The artwork in this book is stunning, and this is a really wonderful way to appreciate the beautiful character designs and scenery in the game!

The book presents all of the work in a streamlimed fashion so its easy to follow even glossing over and the artwork itself is astounding

Overall this book is amazing - which is not suprising considering we are talking about assassins creed art. Titan books does a great job with the layout and physical production. Their books always feel so nice to hold and flip through - the binding is nice and tight and the pages are thick. I was particularly inpressed with the actual layout of this book, the way the content is presented is just very interesting and attention grabbing. Rather than just slapping a painting into a page with some tiny text there is a cool flow, there are interesting borders and graphical elements to help guide you through the pages. It just looks sharp. As far as the artwork goes - its all amazing. I love Ancient Greece and greek mythology and this was a wonderful reimagining of it. I do have a personal gripe with the style of the art work but it is my own personal prefrence. Ubisoft is not one to skip corners, especially on anything assassins creed related. Their artwork is always impeccible and they always go above and beyond the expectations of what ‘concept art’ should be. This is what i love about AC art. However, in this production a lot of the art work is very heavy on photobashing techniques and a lot of the images are just 3d mockups or 3d paintovers. I understand that this is very time efficient for game companies and allows artists to work fast and visually communicate easier. This is pretty standard as far as concept art goes. I think my gripe with it is that ive come to expect more from AC art, and to me this feels like cutting corners. It is by no means a slight on the artist - it is very technically proficient, i just look forward to the very carefully planned and painstakingly rendered final pieces that AC normally produces. If you are not familiar with photobashing and 3d paintovers, chances are you wont even notice the difference . If you like AC odyssey or are a fan of ‘art of’ books - you will love it all the same.

É cheio de detalhes sobre as artes do jogo além de trazer textos interessantes sobre as mesmas. Uma fonte de inspiração pra quem trabalha com ilustração e certamente indispensável pra quem é fã do jogo ou da série.

Las ilustraciones son buenísimas y la cantidad de datos históricos que mezclan con la historia es fascinante. Muestra el gran trabajo y empeño que el equipo puso en desarrollar el juego y el arte está muy bien hecho. Hay páginas desplegables y secciones para cada una de las criaturas mitológicas que aparecen en el juego. De las mejores compras que he hecho.

I got the art book for Origins and loved it and so this one was an easy buy. It didn't disappoint, if you have last year Art book for Origins this is at the same level. Great quality paper and binding. Amazing art inside as well and a decent amount of insite in the games creation. If you enjoyed the game this is a nice treat.
