I love my new mat. I’ve been using it to prep all my sour dough. Handles the heat well. East to clean up. Rolls right back into place so it can be stored to you can fold it. Great quality and perfect size for my prep space. Can’t go wrong with the price.

Instructions are a bit confusing (as are some of these reviews about the coating that is covering this mat.) It’s a simple process. With a scissor, cut one of the edges close enough to the mat itself to enable the easy peel-off process of removing the silicone cover to expose the actual mat. Discard silicone after peeling off. Proceed to soak the mat in a hot water sink bath using antibacterial soap for about 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse then shake off excess water beads and you’re good to go! Mat adheres well to the countertop and I’m looking forward to using it to make pizza and other things.

The extra-large size gives me plenty of room to handle high-hydration doughs without everything spilling over onto the counter – perfect for stretching, folding, shaping boules, or rolling out larger batches. The built-in measurements and concentric circles are super useful for getting consistent dough thickness or aiming for a specific diameter when I'm pre-shaping or making pizza-style sourdough. It's non-stick as advertised; my sticky sourdough releases easily with just a light dusting of flour or rice flour, and cleanup is effortless – a quick wipe or rinse does the trick. That said, it does slide around on my countertop more than I expected, especially when I'm really working the dough aggressively. I have to hold it down occasionally or place it on a slightly damp surface to keep it in place. It's not a deal-breaker since I use it daily anyway, but a stronger grip would make it perfect. Overall, for sourdough enthusiasts, this mat is a solid choice – durable, practical, and way better than working directly on the counter. I'd buy it again, just might add some non-slip tape underneath if the sliding bothers me long-term.

I got this mat specifically because of the measurements. I have gotten better with regular sandwich bread but I want to try rolls and sourdough which need more specific measurements. So far this mat is perfect. Easy to use, easy to wash and the right size for my needs

This is my new favorite thing. It is dishwasher safe. Making it really durable. It does not slip on my counter. Dough doesn’t really stick to it. And the measurements are accurate. It even gives a little tips. I love this mat.
