I bought this ammonia detector for my husband who works on the farm, and it has proven to be extremely useful. It can accurately measure the ammonia gas level in the farm. The detector is highly sensitive and responds immediately to even the slightest change in ammonia concentration. The accessories are very complete. It comes with a convenient carrying case, a back clip, a power supply, a USB-C cable and an instruction manual. My husband said it's very easy to operate. Even a novice can get started quickly. The alarm function is excellent. It has a loud sound, vibration and flashing lights. This ensures that we can be alerted in a timely manner even in a noisy farm environment. With this ammonia gas detector, the ammonia monitoring on our farm is well guaranteed. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.

From the moment we got this machine, it has not worked. It registers ammonia even when not in the barn. I took it home and we still have ammonia. You also cannot calibrate it, which makes it absolutely worthless. With a name like ZYKYCX, I should have known better. We had our inspector compare their ammonia detector to this one and this one was so all over the place, it was embarrassing. Do NOT...I repeat do NOT waste your money on this detector. Get one with a name brand and that can be calibrated.

Fast response on first reading, appears accurate based on the other ammonia detector we use in the barn. Like this one more as it is rechargeable so dont have to worry about swapping out dead AA batteries every few months.
