more cost effective for frequent noodle
this is so good. i’ve been using Kewpie Yuzu Kosho dressing for my noodles but it’s kind of pricey to be eating as much as i do. i tried making my own sauce using yuzu kosho paste but there seems to be no recipes online for duping the kewpie dressing and every other sauce i tried was not good. this is mostly a me problem. then i saw this hot sauce, which saved the day! much more reasonably priced, and don’t have to use much at all. the heat level is slightly under medium - and for reference, i can’t do much spiciness. i am a wimp. i cried at a nepalese restaurant bc the soup was so spicy that i felt panic and doom and fear. this yuzukosho hot sauce is flavorful and could be a little spicier but others may find it mild.

Almost but not quite Trader Joe's
I was looking for a replacement for my favorite Trader Joe's Yuzu hot sauce and gave this one a try. The flavors are good but it really packs some heat. A little bit more than I wanted but it's still a quality product.

Great mild citrus and mild pepper taste!
I love this product, but it’s hard to come by. I was able to recreate the taste easily using homemade ingredients. I was unable to replicate the texture.

I put this stuff on everything!
I love yuzu kosho, especially mixed with a little ponzu sauce to dip sushi and sashimi in. It also is great as a dipping sauce for gyoza. The sauce itself is great in scrambled eggs. Actually, it is fantastic on anything.

Sweet with heat for Asian food
It’s always great to try new flavors. This Yuzu is sweet with a bit of heat. We tried it with some gyoza and it adds a subtle citrus taste. This can be a nice dipping option for things like chicken strips and other meals where sauces can enhance the food. It won’t replace things like sriracha but adds some variety. The family need to keep experimenting with what foods go best.

A little drop or two will do
I was looking for a replacement for Trader Joes Yuzu sauce. This is NOT a replacement. It has a different flavor palette, and is much hotter, but this is great. Not what I was looking for, but a nice surprise. Very piquant. Use with care.

Spendy but quality product.
Good replacement for the Trader Joe's version of this sauce that is (sadly) long gone. Fresh, bright flavor with nice balance of heat, sweetness, and acidity.

Bad
Not a trace of yuzu, no smell or taste of it. Just jalapeno and vinegar and maybe some stale citrus hint. Not spicy either, can pour all over and barely taste anything. Worthless and misleading.
