EWG rating of 3, lovely staying power, not overly drying, amazing colors to choose from, under $9??? Could this stuff be any better??? Personaly, I don't think so. I love it. but I do understand some of the complaints. If you want this to wear well, you do need to let it dry down completely. It absolutely CAN be sticky if you put it on too thick, and then, like nail polish, it just won't ever really dry down. I do not think it is actually drying to the lips, although I have noticed there are slight differences in this between colors. But in order to have the best possible look, comfort, and application, you really need to exfoliate, and then prep with a good chapstick. I use lanolin, actually, and it works great. Knee-high is a fantastic color if you're a soft summer with neutral to cool olive skin. As far as hours of wear, yeah, you're not going to look perfect after 12 hours. BUT, if you french-style smudge it out in light layers, let it dry, and have properly prepped your lips, you can absolutely get a gorgeous 5 hours even with eating and drinking. I think that's as realistic as you can ask for, and for the price and ingredients, that makes it a winner.

No problem with this lipstick. A bit sticky for a while, but not gooey or icky sticky, so I'm fine with that. It goes on well, lasts long enough, sometimes it wipes off, at times I remove it myself. The colour matches me perfectly, looks like I'm wearing lipstick without looking like I'm wearing lipstick. I might buy it again.

I absolutely love this lip tint. Once it sets, it really stays put and doesn't budge, even after eating and drinking. I love it!! It doesn't feel heavy or intense on my lips like a typical lipstick. It feels lightweight and comfortable while still giving great color. I also have a bit of natural pigmentation on my lips (Im brown skin), and this provided excellent coverage to hide them. I'm so impressed with the formula that I'll definitely be buying it in other shades.

The color is great and it goes on so smooth. I cant believe how well it stays, like I got nervous bc once it dried down it really wouldn't budget. It didnt transfer on anything either. I love that I can have crisp clean lines or blur the edges for a softer look and its buildable. The only thing I didnt like was that no matter how long I had it on, my lips always felt sticky/tacky.

I purchased the color Stay Teddy and it is a beautiful shade of brown. It goes on smoothly as silk. It’s matte, yet has a creamy feel on the lips. It’s just soft and pretty with no stickiness, a bare there feel on the lips. This shade is very understated, perfect for everyday. Topping it all off, the tube design is attractive and the wand makes it easy to apply. My lips feel hydrated, look pretty, not dry and caked.

UPDATE: So I gave this another try. I applied an even thinner layer than I did before & I believe that’s the key to a success outcome. I still find this to be on the drier side. However, based on all the positive reviews, this may be worth a try for others. Just not for me. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Ohmygosh - this lip product is so DRYING. Based on all the positive reviews, I was truly looking forward to using this. I’m 60 yrs old and I love lip stains, my favorite being Wonderskin. However it’s not always the most convenient to use. I’m fortunate that lipsticks do not bleed into fine lines around my mouth and I do not suffer from dry lips. I did do a gentle scrub before applying, but this just didn’t work for me. I can’t help but wonder if I received a “lemon” or something was wrong with it. I applied a thin layer and let it dry, but I had to stop there. However I wanted to give it a fair chance and wore it for almost an hour. Then I couldn’t get it off quick enough. I wasn’t expecting this to be a super hydrating product & anticipated some dryness, but not like this. It’s a lovely shade, “Wild at Heart,” so 2 stars for that.

This lip color is a really great formula that stains your lips, isn't sticky, and provides color ALL DAY without need to reapply. I have it in two colors and coverage does vary between the two hues, but both are a lovely velvety finish - and I don't even carry it with me because the color really only needs to be applied once. I also like the fact that it has no noticeable odor, totally neutral.

Great color and stays on for an entire afternoon while eating and drinking. Only downside is I have drier lips and it started to peel a little after all day wear.

Use every day though i mix it with another one

Me llamó mucho la atención este labial de Maybelline por ser mate y de larga duración, además de tener colores nude ideales para esta temporada de primavera-verano. El tono que elegí fue el “115 Coffee Date”, un color entre café y vino, es de los más oscuros de la colección. El aplicador es de felpa, lo que hace que la aplicación sea suave y difuminable; incluso puedes usar el dedo para crear un efecto de tinta coreana. Eso sí, hay que actuar rápido porque, una vez seco, es imposible moverlo. Por cierto, no percibí ningún olor en el producto. En cuanto a la sensación: *Textura: Es de consistencia ligera, se siente como si no tuvieras nada puesto, solo un poco pegajoso al aplicarlo. *Durabilidad: Lo probé durante las comidas y solo se desvanece un poco pero es de alta durabilidad. *Remoción: Es imposible quitarlo solo con una servilleta; necesitas sí o sí un desmaquillante bifásico o aceite. Mi resumen: Es un labial de larga duración con efecto mate que aguanta toda la jornada laboral sin retocar. Pero recomiendo solo aplicarlo una vez ya que la Segunda capa queda apelmazada. En lo personal, lo volvere a comprar.

I should never choose a lip colour online and I find this colour waaaay too dark but holy mole..what staying power! My students used to ask why I only wear lipstick first thing in the morning but this stuff stays on all day, does not crack or fade. Very happy. Will buy another shade though!
