Lichamp 1/3HP 4.5CFM Single Stage Vacuum Pump for R134a/R410a

GREAT deal! I used it to pull a vacuum on my new mini split and ran it for about 40 minutes and it ran perfectly without any shut down and pulled a hard vacuum. I don't have a micron gauge, but my AC gauge set indicated 30" vacuum which is just fine! I runs quiet and cool The motor RPM is about 3600 rpm which is why it can move 4.5 CFM. One thing with these budget pumps is the more you first run it, the better as it seems to polish the vanes and cylinder for a better vacuum.

This is a marvelous vacume pump. It is quiet, smooth and pulls good vacume fast. I use it for car AC evacuation. It pulls more than 30" vacume (the highest my gauge set will read) in about 20 seconds. When I pulled it out of the package I was immediately impressed with it's heft. It's metal and far exceeded the quality I thought I would receive. I have used a pump loaned by AutoZone, That onesd sells for over $200. This one is far, far superior and was only $40! I expected a plastic, buzzy pump. What I received was a fully professional pump. My only complaint is that the hose fitting on it is the 3/8 AC fitting. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars. My manifold set (Harbor Freight) uses the 1/.2" hose fitting. I was able to order and adapter here on Amazon and then everything worked fine.

It sucks. So far it’s a keeper. Comes dry but includes the correct oil and amount. Just fill with the oil and plug it in. In that order. :)

Unit smoked filled my garage and leaked oil on the garage floor.

Used it on three jobs as soon as it arrived. As long as you keep oil in it it will do a good job

Pump works well. I had an issue with mine but the seller took care of it.

I see the one negative review is that this will not hold vacuum when it is off.... okay but it is a single stage and if you need that reliably you must buy a dual stage pump. Generally when you do car AC work you let it run for 30 minutes to an hour to ensure you have a true empty system before you refill. This worked perfectly for that. I cannot speak to house or other AC work but for my purposes only needing it a couple times a year max this worked wonderfully. I have no problem having to run it continuously to ensure vacuum. There are definitely better products out there, but not many around this price. I would certainly look for a two stage pump if I expected a lot of uses.

This is a great quality low cost vacuum pump! Its comes complete with oil to fill its reservoir. In the video, I pumped down an empty cylinder with a volume of about one cubic foot in well under a minute. The video shows the pressure gauge go from atmospheric (0.0 psig) down to a full vacuum (about -30 inches of mercury) on the gauge in a short time. The noise level is reasonable and pretty smooth: it is a thin motor-running hum that is only about a conversation level of noise when nearby the pump.
