Outstanding !!
I am amazed with how well this little welder works, this tiny little unit works as well as 3 phase industrial welders I have used. I can gas, mig and arc weld, I have never used tig before and I donโt weld all the time so Tig welder It works very well The torch for the tig welder isnโt the best and you do need to purchase electrodes extra from the welder, I need a bit of guidance on setting up the electrode side, however I have done welding with the tig welder and there is plenty of power there, really I need thicker electrodes. Arc welder Outstanding, if someone would tell me I could use this with 1.6 mm rods on 1.5 mm steel and yet it had enough power to use 2.4mm rods on 1/4 steel, I would never have believed them, it strikes an arc beautifully, very easy to use, in fact on 1/4 steel I had to turn it down, amazing little welder. If you was doing car body really you do need a mig welder, it is much quicker than Tig, the Tig for me really is so I can weld aluminium and braze smaller projects, the Arc welding side of it is outstanding Excellent value for money and ideal for someone who doesn't weld all the time, not too expensive to leave sat on the shelf Absolute brilliant buy, I am thrilled. To bits with it 10/10 for what it is. The only con is the Tig torch isnโt that good, also it doesnโt come with an argon regulator attachment but that said look at the price and accept you are buying a great little welder for buttons, Iโve used far more expensive welders that have under performed compared to their price

This Machine Can Be Very Dangerous
I do not write reviews, but felt I had to this time. On unpacking the machine I read the manual (Sad I Know). Stated input amperage 22.7 amps for 240V machine. OOPs, where was that coming from with a 13 amp plug? Opened the plug to find what is shown in the picture, a 50 amp fuse which is illegal and cannot be bought in UK. If you ran the machine the machine up to its highest rating, something would give, like burning out the socket or your wiring. The machine may be very good but like many sold on the web does not state the wiring requirements it needs. I shall be running a separate 2.5mm cable straight off of the garage consumer unit with its own RCBO to feed this animal. Just Beware!

Perfect for hobbyists like me
Great little welder for hobbyists and small projects! Itโs compact, lightweight, and easy to set up, perfect for anyone learning TIG or doing light fabrication at home. The arc is smooth and stable, and the controls are straightforward even for beginners. It handles mild steel and stainless really well, and the duty cycle is more than enough for hobby work. The build quality feels solid for the price, and it runs quietly. Overall, itโs a reliable, budget-friendly machine that punches above its weight, ideal for DIY welders and weekend projects.

Better than expected
Better than expected, but gas hose is only for consumable bottles I now have to choose between cutting the fixing off and hoping it fits the regulator . Take torch is of exceptional quality have not used it yet not is not a Flexi head

The unit released it's 'factory smoke' after about 30-45 minutes of noncontinuous use...
I bought this welder about a month ago, primarily to carry out some small scale TIG work. I am hoping that this will trigger the seller to contact me as i wish to return it following it's catastrophic failure this afternoon. The welder has done a maximum of 45 minutes work on and off over a month. Following a short run on mild steel at 50A, the unit was sat idle while i turned of the argon. As i approached the unit to turn it off, i heard a 'whooshing' sound and huge amounts of white smoke pouring out of the unit's vents. I quickly pulled the plug and got out of my workshop. However, when it was functioning as expected, it did perform really well for a lift TIG machine. No idea how it performs as a stick welder, sadly it lost it's grip on usefulness before i got to test that function. I may have got a 'dud' (it happens), so if and when i hear from the seller and get a replacement i may change my feedback.

Illegal and totally dangerous fuse!
DANGEROUS my machine came from manufacture with a 50amp fuse! Totally illegal in the UK! Fitted the machine however with a 13amp, and it works, time will tell how good it is but it seems ok for a beginner! High frequency start is a nice touch for such a cheap welder, if they sort the fuse issue would get a far better rating
