I bought this, at first not wanting to pay the price as this was more expensive than others. But I decided to spend the extra money because of the compact design, silicone material, and the simple it attached to the bike. Everything just seemed right. And, it was. It looks great on the bike. Very sleek, clean, and modern looking. Love the material. Not your typical crushed, wrinkled nylon bag but a very nice looking silicone case that's sturdy and feels good in the hands. Case seals contents inside tight without fasteners or straps of any kind so it's super simple. Just twist/pull off end caps. They can be more difficult to put back on but a small price to pay for its waterproof capabilities. The quality of the tools seemed ok on inspection but I wasn't impressed. Not disappointed either. I've had it almost a month and love the durability and look of if. However, I was recently able to put it to the test, as I got a flat tire on the back of my ebike after hitting a bump too hard. I can say this little kit saved my butt and worked great! And let me start by saying, I've never changed/ fixed a bike inner tube before. Luckily the weather was nice and I had a tree to work under. I pulled up a youtube video just to be sure of what I was doing and then went to work. This little kit worked great and had everything I need. I followed the instructions on the video and tried to break the tire loose from the rim as much as possible with my hands before, using the little pry wrenches to unseat it. After that, the tire came off pretty easy. And I was able to access the tube and pull it out without actually taking the tire off the rim. Also, I didn't have a wrench with me to take the tire off so I had to do this while the tire was on the bike. I pulled the air pump out, hooked it up to the tube and started pumping it up. I was surprised at how quickly this little 4" inch pump started filling up my tire. Once I got some air in it, I was quickly able to find the leaks. Yes, there were two holes in the tube, opposite sides of each other. This kit came with patches and luckily, the tears in the tube were smaller than the patches. I roughed up the areas with the little scratcher it came with and applied a patched to each one of the tears in the inner tube. I didn't issue any glue, just the patches it came with. Used the little pump to put some air into the tube and then did a quick squeeze check to make sure it was holding. Inserted the tube back into the tire and then just went in reverse to seat the tire in the rim. It was a little more difficult to get the tire on, not because of the tools, but you have to stretch the tire over the rim just right or it gets too tight to get on. Not sure how else to describe that. After that, I just use the small pump again to quickly pump the tire up to about 40 psi. Everything went back into the case easily and fit as if it was never taken out. Patches held, didn't lose any air pressure in my 21 mile ride home from my repair site. This kit was easy to use and had everything I needed. It was convenient and most importantly it actually worked well in an emergency when I needed it to. All that being said, after my recent experience, I will be adding a few things to supplement it, for convenience only. Will be adding a spare inner tube, wrench to loosen the rear tire nuts (in case I need to do a full change and not just a patch), a blade to cut wire tires, spare wire ties, slightly larger patches, and a co2 inflator. Again, the pump worked well and it was fairly quick. However, it's still a pump and in inclement weather or in an undesirable location having that ability to inflate the tire almost instantly would be a plus. Would buy again, and recommended for a friend.
