I picked my nails my entire life (I'm 29) and when I say pick I mean my nails were so short swiping a nail brush horizontally across my nail would completely cover the entire fingernail. They were a hot mess. I tried all the growth and strengtheners but none seemed to help much and it was tedious having to apply a fresh coat each day to clean nails. I then resorted to acrylic nails which looked pretty but essentially did further damage with grinding them with power tools. I had extremely dry and flaky cuticles no matter how often I applied oil and lotion nothing seemed to help. That all changed when I tried Mavala! Mavala does wonders!!! All it takes is applying the lotion on the nails massaging cuticles before bed. It absorbs so quickly so it really only takes maybe a minute or 2 to do. Within a couple days the nails are shiny and healthy. It works with the nails you have now so you wont have to wait and wait to see improvement. My finger nails feel smoother and my cuticles are adequately moisturized without having to constantly apply lotion all day. Considering that I work in healthcare and wash my hands countless times throughout the day and my cuticles are healthy and not cracked and cross speaks volumes to how far this stuff goes! A little bit goes a long way! If you miss a couple days your nails don't look too awful as opposed to other products once you stop using it your nails go back to where you started. While with the jar you may be able to get a tiny bit more product, I find the tube easier to apply.

I damaged my nail matrix really bad after getting it caught in the car door and my nail fell off. I bought this about a week after it started healing and my nail is growing back after using this for 2 weeks twice a day. It is so expensive but it is so worth it. I have been using this for about 20 years now. Was introduced to it by a manicurist for my very dry cuticles from washing my hands so often for work. I do not use it daily as recommended, but when my cuticles get really bad, just a few days of use and everything goes back to normal. The small jars last a long time since you only need a small amount. I hope they never change the formula.

I have been a nail biter since I was a little girl & have very weak chewed up ugly nails that have trouble growing out fast. Two years ago I was talking to doctors about my problem nails, with no results. I happened upon a nail seminar that spoke of using only healthy products: specifically , Mavala. This is a Swiss company and the aim of this seminar was to show how using these healthy products could regenerate peeling, splitting and cracking nails. It sounded just like me. The Nailactin is an intense moisturizer that works on the matrix of the nail. Rubbing it in every night, even with polish on your nails, can produce amazing results. The program suggests removing all polish every 6 to 8 days and using the Nailactin on your bare nails for an overnight treatment before repolishing. The bonus for me is that not only are my nails healthier but my cuticles are perfect and only need pushing back with a towel. Try it; I hope you will be as pleased as I am!

As a teen I had surgery on my toe and since then the left 1/4 of my nail grows in angled wrong which makes it fragile on one side of my toe and only able to grow about 1/5 of an inch on one side. It forms a major crack once it gets to 1/5 of an inch. So it looks like I cut a square out of my nail on the top left side. I have tried everything, even trying to strengthen it with crazy glue. Nothing worked. When I put Mavala on in the morning and evening after a few months I had a normal shaped nail. It still grows in wrong but the strength and flexibility of the nail has changed dramatically so it no longer cracks off. The key is twice a day application without it getting washed off or wiped off by socks. (Before putting on socks give the cream time to soak in.) I know twice a day is key because I have had a harder time getting my finger nails to grow using Nailactin. My fingernails are better for sure, I put the cream on every night, but during the day it seems like I can't go 30 minutes without getting my hands wet. My nails crack on the edges way below my fingertips. I take collagen every day and eat well, it' just my body chemistry I guess. My nails are better with applying the Nailactin cream at night, but I have not seen as dramatic results as on my toe where I use it morning and evening. Be patient. The cream is working on the nails as they form and grow from your nail beds. You only need a small amount and if you are wearing nail polish don't bother putting it over the polish. Basically you are waiting for the new and improved nail to grow out from below the cuticle area. If you stop using the cream your nails will go back to how they used to be.

By far, this is the most amazing nail strengthener I've ever used! When Covid hit, I had to remove my acrylics and was determined to resuscitate my weak, splitting and ridgy nail beds. After two weeks of using this cream everyday on my natural nails, I began to see results. My nails were less weak! After 4 months, my nails have the growth I only thought I could get through acrylics or gel. My natural nails are strong, and they've stopped splitting. Never thought I'd ever say that! I love this product and will use it always.

Arrived very quickly. I've used this cream every day for years. It really does help my nails grow stronger. And my cuticles get very dry and uncomfortable, but feel better as soon as I apply the cream. I can't say this about any other hand creams, so this nail cream must be doing something very specific which is really helpful.

It restored my brittle nails back to health. Should be used every night before bedtime to benefit most of the nourishing effect on both cuticles and nails. Also a must after removing nail polish on your toes. Love it, despite finding it a little pricey.

Love this product. Had severely damaged nails from acrylic that pulled away from my nail bed. Use it on a regular basis and my nails grew back very quickly. Even my nail technician was impressed at how fast my nails. The bottle is very small, but a little goes a long way. Buying another one.
