I'm currently using my Oven over a " Propane Burner ", set on very " LOW " Flames.

No it doesn’t...it’s thin but seems to hold up well under constant use and heat. Hope this helps.

What is the return policy?

Reduce the size of the flame on the gas stove.

How do you or is there a way to control the temperature when used on a hot tent stove?

The majority of the temperature control will be done through the heat of the stove itself but slight adjustments may be made by moving the oven slightly to hotter or cooler sections of the stove or positioning part of the oven off the stove to expose it to less heat.
