Hooked on Phonics Master Reader: Strange Museum (Book Series, Volumes 1 - 4)

LOOKING for a Scope and Sequence of Reading Skills required to read these...ie how many different syllable patterns are used in the writing of each book and general grade level 'readability'.Anyone?Thanks.LC

Great reader for kids

I originally purchased these books as part of the Advanced reader program from the same company that sells Hooked on Phonics. My daughter was eight at the time and really enjoyed all 4 of them.Now my son is nine and I am homeschooling him (autistic) this year. He is really enjoying these books too. I came here hoping that I could find more books in the series, no luck on that. My son, who normally doesn't like fiction, devoured these. Each takes a brother and sister back in time to a significant historical event. If your child enjoys Magic Treehouse books, then they would love these too! Hope I helped!

My daughter is bilingual and usually doesn't like to read books in English. In an effort to boost her english reading skills, I introduced her to these books as part of the Hooked on Phonics series. These books managed to "hook" her and I found her reading these books for fun. They are great books, highly engaging, and take the kids back to a time in history. I highly recommend these books.
